To me, there are only THREE SONGS that give a proper nod to the ol' Sly and the Family Stone "Hot Fun in the Summertime" groove: "My Girl" by Donnie Iris, "Hold the Line from Toto...and this underrated GEM OF A SONG from Terre, Suzzy and Maggie!! This entire Lp is GREAT!

A bit of a strange video but great for demonstrating the way they layer their voices. it would be interesting to see this done to another complex vocal group, like the early Beach Boys.
