I had a dealer do this back in 1996.... added a crappy alarm, (car had a factory upgrade system already) "rustproofing" which the car had from the factory, and some other crap that was invisible... adding $3500 to a 9k car... I said "take it all OFF, I didn't authorize or want any of it." They tried claiming they used it to lower my rate... "yeah, but it INCREASES the total cost, so NO!" ...back and forth for half an hour, and they took the money off but didn't touch the car.

I had a dealership selling their secondhand gps trackers with it that they use as their inventory trackers for their own purposes. They just resell it to you and give you access to the app. The problem was it’s a $500 add on and the car already has Nissan connect included for that purpose if I want it and $500 would last me about 5 years of the service or up to 12 years for the lower packages without remote start and stuff like that. Plus it’s literally just wired hastily into the fuse box ready to start a fire or short your fuses out. They lied and said it was a requirement but in their own documentation it said it was optional because you can’t force someone to buy a third market, previously used tracking device.

Why do they have to cut it the entire point it to not have an open corner to the weather. If I installed the drip edge properly like you did by bending around the corner and they cut it I would go ballistic

Your expose to cut the bottom be for its bent witch is why it crinkled like that

2 things.. 1 fascia should always be on home or building before installation of drip unless using an aluminum fascia that will slip behind without cutting of drip 2. Drip edge doesn’t go inside the gutter on any manufacturer installation unless it’s something very recent (within last year). Gutter guys do it bc most aren’t real gutter guys and don’t know how to keep water from running behind gutter. Hope that helps.

I think the biggest mistake is agreeing to the 30k base for a bloody Maverick!!! It’s a cheap crappy little truck, the number of “why’s” I have are incredible. He said we can’t see where your car is at but I disagree.i know they can see other things like how much fuel you have and mileage. Know because I had this happen to me. Salesperson told me things about my vehicle I didn’t know.

Knew a guy that wouod build out his trucks without rhe dealer add ons. Have them shipped. Then dealer would add a bunch of BS, and mark it up. Then he woudl decline pickup due to issues with pricing and ended up putting our local ford dealer in huge hot water with Ford.

When I bought my car I bought it before it arrived at the dealership. When I went to pick it up, the salesman said there are two things on your car we didn’t know were on there. I told him I don’t want them , he said, Oh no, we’re not charging you for them. It was our mistake for missing it on the invoice. You can keep it or we can remove them. One of the items was pinstripes which I didn’t want, but I kept it.
