It was rude for the buyer to even ask him to take it back. The title is signed.

The private sale is an "as is" sale with no return rights unless the seller is guilty of fraud or blatant misrepresentation in most states. The seller obviously went to a great deal of trouble to make the vehicle's problems known, and the potential buyer had the vehicle inspected. Base on all available information the buyer went through with the sale with eyes wide open, and at that point he owns the vehicle. I could sleep soundly at night if I were the seller, notwithstanding the buyer's dissatisfaction that only he can be responsible for.

Buyer even had it inspected. With all problems confirmed. What the hell was he expecting. Don't think buyer can take any action with all that done and everything disclosed. Seller did the right thing.

The buyer just graduated...from CLOWN SCHOOL!!! The sellers final decision was morally sound.

It looks to me that the buyer owns that car. The seller has no obligation to take the car back. Buyer knew the situation, he bought the car anyway, so he can fix it. Just that simple.
