I originally had a theory that perhaps New Super Mario Bros. was the first time Bowser fell in lava, as in the original Super Mario Bros., it doesn’t look like Bowser fell in lava and more like a bottomless pit that may have been an illusion (to quote one of the Dorkly videos, when would Bowser have the time to install lava in 7 other castles). But I guess that theory is out the window because of Super Mario All-Stars. So for a new theory, perhaps for New Super Mario Bros., Bowser decided to use even hotter lava to test the limits of his skin into becoming Dry Bowser (maybe he saw the Wolverine comic where Logan was melted all the way down to his skeleton and lived through it, and was like “I want that!”). Then perhaps he went back to colder lava so that he only uses Dry Bowser sparingly. It’s kinda similar to my theory on Bowser Jr. being a clone son ala Boba Fett.

I’m sorry, but the bosses are an absolute hell on mission runs especially no damage. They are possibly the most frustrating thing I’ve ever played ever. The controls are finicky as hell. Other than that they are alright!!

They should remove every reference of Other M from the ending and I'll be happy because that game is an abomination and an insult to the metroid legacy.

I feel as though the bosses are based off of fights from MP9 and 10, though I wish there were more. Daisy sounds kinda different when she makes a grunt noise, she sounds like a deeper, funny version of Peach. Idk it just sounds kinda off to me.

If I had a nickel for every time Shadow is to blame for the birth of a villain, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Peachette is my favorite version of Toadette and/or Peach. I feel like if SMM3 exists the Supercrown could be an extra powerup in the Power-Ups section and would make every character have the same appearance as Peachette, only for each individual playable character. I’m talkin’ about Mario, Luigi, Toad, you get the point. Not for enemies, bosses, gizmos, blocks or platforms, just the playable characters. And yes, also more stuff we need in SMM3 that SMM2 Nintendon’t have.
