You’re so right about muscle mass being so important. For example, when I lost weight the first time, I wasn’t exercising at all or eating well, I was still eating mainly just junk food but in smaller portions…so yeah the scale had a lower number, but I didn’t look great and I was constantly miserable too. But then I started actually nourishing my body, walking, and exercising and I literally created my dream body and I felt amazing. Even though the scale went up like 9lbs, I looked slimmer and my measurements were smaller! I’m trying to get back there after a whole year of slipping up now😂 These videos are really helping me ease back into my old healthy mindset like I already stopped craving junk and started craving nourishing foods and exercise again :D!

my personal opinion not really backed by peer review Walking: Doesn't affect your hunger as much because its stead state low impact. Walking and collecting fruits and veggies takes time. Walking ie gathering food may take a while so your hunger is not spiked right away. Running: is basically what you do as predator to chase down your food. You chass down an animal to slaughter it, After you get it back to your camp to be cooked you will have need for food. i think our bodies genetically adapted to eat what you k*ll right away because you can't leave meat out for too long, no refridgerators. But fruits and berries and veggies can last a little longer.
@Audrey_1110Күн бұрын
Literally same. Like I actually enjoy running when I’m feeling fit, but I’ve had such bad luck trying to lose weight while running because I’d get so ravenous afterwards whereas if I just walk or do other forms of cardio, I’m completely fine and my appetite is normal!

So i have a question last time you told me i should eat healthy fat because i wonder if peanut butter is healthy fat since for breakfast i eat one peanut butter sandwich cuz like ik that it has protein but won't it make me gain weight since its like high in calories? Anyways!! Your last advise about eating healthy fats really helped me i haven't binged in like 2 or 3 days and for someone who really struggles with that tysmmm i never feel 100 percent full more at like 80 percent so I'm really grateful tysmmm
@HulaMaskКүн бұрын
I wouldn’t venture to call most peanut butter’s healthy. Though I think they are fine in moderation. If you’re looking for healthy fat, it’s best to start with Whole Foods that are unprocessed think avocados, macadamia nuts, Brazil, nuts, salmon, Chia, seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed. But that being said, I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with you having a peanut butter sandwich every day. I don’t think it’s something you need to overthink about. But I did wanna clarify that if you’re really trying to get healthy fats in try to look for other food sources. And I think when you get it in something like salmon or nuts, you also get the benefit of having some extra food to fill you up.
@Audrey_1110Күн бұрын
This is just my opinion but peanut butter is fine if it’s the 100% kind that doesn’t have any other ingredients aside from peanuts, like no added oil or sugar. It has about the same calories as a serving of nuts, just don’t overeat it. Large amounts of PB is used for purposeful weight gain so yeah be careful not to be eating huge spoonfuls or anything lol.
@simplysiaxxКүн бұрын
Omg I'm so proud of your progress🥹 And yes peanut butter (as long as the ingredients are 100% nuts) is a fairly healthy source if fat but there are definitely better sources. My recommendations are: ★avocados ★olives ★butter ★ghee ★natural animal fats ★cold pressed extra virgin olive oil ★avocado oil ★coconut oil And as long as you're not consistently surpassing your maintenance calories, then no you won't gain weight from eating healthy fat sources-they'll help to improve your mood, stabilise your hunger and heal your hormones :)

was really hoping to find another creator worth diving into but seeing you support EU is just really icky. and this is coming from a black woman who is considered an “exotical”. her content “othering” other beautiful black women, bleaching her skin, those bad wigs.. then constantly denying that it’s her is not only deranged as heck but comical to say the least. plus it always seemed very fetishizing, imo, to call yourself such. my favorite quote from the model imán goes along the lines of, “don’t call me exotic, i’m not a bird or plant.” so i cannot support other women of color who do not uplift all black women.

I remember one of my old friend groups used to like me as a person, *but* they also liked the fact I was kinda big because it made them feel skinnier and prettier (they made it very obvious with little remarks they would say here and there). I think that perfect example of this is the massive popularity of kpop in the world. It's just a bunch of attractive people in one place (the whole industry is filled with best of the best looking people in the whole country) and usually there isn't that many people in the same place that are that attractive, they are usually spread out. I honestly think that if these kpop idols weren't this "perfect" ($kinny, pretty) nobody outside of Korea would care about them no matter how talented they are. When people try to shove this "body positivity" down our throats and act like being f@t is good just remember how most loved people at the top of the world look, this is why Hollywood was popular and this is why kpop has taken over the world. People need to stop lying to themselves that what you look like doesn't matter...it matters so much. It's the first thing people notice about you and it's what forms their first impression of you. Learn to play the game and your life will improve so much.
@simplysiaxxКүн бұрын
@@queenofneverland9007 Honestly could not agree more!! The reason why those types of industries have so much money behind them is because they generate so much from people being invested in simply getting the smallest insight to the pretty skinny life. It's very true that making progress in your endeavored direction is very illuminating. Although, We equate 'skinny', loosely with a whole spectrum of health and fitness. No one should be 'plate watching' what you're eating and you should know that the word skinny shouldn't trigger an eating disorder. Women's bodies are naturally 'plump' and a fair degree of good health allows a healthy. 'plumpness'. If maternity is a direction that you're heading, maybe you want to have a special diet. So that's certainly a consideration for some.

@@Lincholin_nams I would recommend keeping the skin car very simple I heal Ur skin barrier (gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, soothing moisturiser with cerimides) and most importantly focus on your health and fitness. I used to have really bad skin texture and redness on my face, turns out I was sensitive to dairy, egg whites and garlic but never knew until I really experimented with my diet. Have you had any loose skin? I show mine 20 minutes into my video on ultra processed food and my weight loss. I am doing bicycle kicks and crunches everyday immediately after intense cardio exercise, which is the only method that has been shown to actually spot reduce fat by an experiment. I can feel and when standing I can see the muscle underneath but this soft tissue, I guess all the emptied out extra fat cells from when I gained, just sits on top and looks like melting wax when I move around. I can't afford to have it surgically removed. I tried creams that help build up collagen but they had some kind of butter in which makes me think I could just be putting fat into those emptied fat cells and making it worse if any of that butter is absorbed below the skin. It is the only disappointment I have about the life change, that I still would not want to swim in a bikini cos my belly icks me out to see it when I sit or crouch or kneel.
