I well recall following the hay turner within a few feet of it to stop the swath blowing all over the field. That’s one nice baler, our neighbour bought one new together with a 35x, i guess he must of come into an inheritance or won the pools 😊.

What gear were you cutting in? We’re thinking of trying one of these with our b414 but our second gear makes a noise so we would have to cut in 3rd gear.

It's very hard to appreciate exactly why this form of bailing isn't considered efficient enough. Human kind just ALWAYS keeps wanting more and more and more and more.

A nice roundup - brought back so many memories: that 414 from the camera eye looked like a B250/275 -driven by a Charlie Chookit - yours has the same wobbly steering - and Loader frame - worra machine - glad to get back on to our 35. good to see that Gemini still working afterall those years - made a lovely swath for the baler

Reminds me of the Golf Advert - Sounds like a Ferguson ( on the stones) - but it isn't a ferguson .....

Wow, that Massey cruises right along. Disc mowers should be mandatory, kinda like radial tires vs the old bias ply tires.

Hi. I love these lely gemini tedders. I've had 3 over the years. I've modified mine just as a tedder now because I think it turns hay better than a haybob. Cheers Calvin

Sounds good running with the exhaust off! My 35x is a bit rough around the edges too but she is still doing a good day's work and I think "restoring" one with lots of new none-original parts loses some of the history of the thing and in the extreme risks leaving you with a 21st century Chinese-made tractor to a 1950s British/American design. I like that mine still has most of the bits it left Banner Lane with even if they are a bit rusty and worn and that, in one or two places, it still says made in England.

too class . brings back memories of me and my 1971 135 and my dad's 2 furrow fergie plough. must have ploughed at least 100 acres with this set up and enjoyed every minute
