I hope it isn't dead, I have just been focusing on the streams so I put all things related to my live streams here. However Anthony moved to Florida which is very far from New York so I only get to see him about once per year. The whole fun of that channel was us getting together and making the videos. Now that it isn't possible, we haven't made videos. But we are still great friends thankfully.

Can't find the amikit 11 download. It goes directly to the offline amiga review magazine. There's nothing else to download in that page (in slovak). am I doing something wrong?

No, I am not a teacher. But sometimes I give talks in schools and at trade shows for my real job which is Director of Photography. My dad was a teacher though and maybe someday I will teach a class. It would be fun.

@@AmigaBill Oh cool, I'll try looking for that version. My only issue for a lot of these Amiga release based OS's is their focus on HDMI. The only easier way for me to use a VGA video card in a more modern PC setup has been to just use Amiberry or FS-UAE with a workbench image setup I found from an older Amiga tutorial on KZbin as well as MegaAGS. I wish more Amiga distros thought of people who are trying to use older VGA monitors or composite since even the older Amiga monitors were literally composite too. All I really ever see is HDMI and obsession with RTG modes. It's weird imo.

question: have started setting this program up... i get an error saying the gpt-40 menu is not available... the menus are there in the drop down and selected... thoughts? still doing the RTFM for setup and instillation (A4K with the ZZ9000 and roadshow )

@@sacredbanana after more review.(RTM)...changed to model to gpt-40 mini, also had 3.9 MUI - updated to V5- also kept getting ssl error... updated... all is working...(even IBrowse) BTW a BIG Thanks for the use of API File.. still working the speech... had to re install AHI... speech is working...

@@davidobrien1176 Sorry I forgot to update the docs to say it now requires AmiSSL 5.18 or newer. The old docs still say it needs 5.9. I'm releasing a new update to let the user know in the app if their AmiSSL is too old

I'm kind of worried about the AI. Does that mean in the near future most of the software written for the Amiga is going to be robot-made? That kinda makes things a bit scary and, uhm, sad. I hope that's not the case, though.

I have no idea what the future will bring, but I see AI as more of a tool that will help software devs make games vs making it's own games. Everything AI does is based on what humans create anyway

AmigaGPT doesnt affect your concerns (Im not dismissing them) one way or another. Devs have been able to use LLMs (large language models) to help them code Amiga software for over a year now. They would just have to use any modern desktop. Amiga GPT doesnt change that and doesnt make it easier to code Amiga software than it already is. AmigaGPT is an excellent interface from your Amiga to the LLM and you can already do everything AmigaGPT does today from your phone or desktop right now but AmigaGPT lets you do it from your amiga.
