You could also try higher values if you want to tame the high end.

Whats the best and cheapest set up i can use on my laptop to make KZbin videos of me playing guitar. It prefer to capture the audio through my interface instead of a mic in a live room. What are some good free apps and plug-ins i can use? Thanks!

Looking good Terry. Not sure if you are familiar with Mick Ronson, he was David Bowie's guitarist and played a Les Paul that looked very similar to that. Check him out 🤘

I'm curious how they'll sound. 5-6k is even lower wound than most PAFs. Those were mostly between 7 and 8k. Cheers, Martin

Way to go Terry, that looks like fine Pickups, can't wait to Hear them. Sorry I haven't had much time to get to the Chipson stuff yet ,but I'm Gonna!! Mother is better and her trailer is set up and i been moving stuff from Storage shed to Mother's trailer and all fay yesterday and they don't have her ramp and front porch Started!! So i have to use those tiny 5 step high steps just to get up to the floor so another step into the place 😂 Anyways I hope to get back to you in near future. Your Music-In-Law 🤘🎸🤠

I have a Epi Slash Les Paul feels really good for $800 US. It’s not as great as a Gibson, but for 1/3 price it’s pretty darn good.

it's nice and all to refinish the thing, but it's superficial. All that has nothing to do with the cheap materials, construction & shoddy alignment/warping issues that will eventually occur as a result. A well constructed instrument is much more than just looks. In fact, looks are way at the bottom of a list for any actual working musician who needs reliable tools

When my friend and I were on a business trip to Calgary six years' ago, he dragged me to three or four different Tim Horton's to stock up on hockey cards. Also glad to hear that the recovery is now back on track..
