I mean really you couldnt do better for the alien in the blue shirt? He looks like a bad halloween costume that went bad at a holloween party. You should have made him a Mr spock but with a twist, instead of two vulcanian ears he could have one human ear on one side & one vulcan ear on the other. Making the term halfbreed stick out& be more pronounced.

Well, I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. It's important to remember that this is a fan film, and I was putting my own spin on things-- so naturally there would be differences from TOS. My style of filmmaking is to keep tight focus on the characters, supporting the tension of the story. Yes-- in movies and films-- there are times when characters look around in a closeup! It lets the audience know that they are uneasy and want to know what's happening around them. I'm not sure why this upsets you. This is a stylized choice on my part. But it's interesting to see how close you pay attention. It's always cool to see what people notice. Have a good one!

Not at all-- just look at the older Kirk, Scotty, and Riker and the many guest stars on TNG in OFFICIAL Trek films and series. All body types are represented. Just because you age and are heavier, doesn't mean you are not part of Starfleet! Nice try, but as a real Trek fan, you should have known how incorrect that belief is! Thanks for watching anyway.

Resembles the novel Chain of Attack including crew men with bombs in their bellies and transmitters in their teeth, but original enough.
@GeorgeKayaian5 ай бұрын
You are right on track! The movie is mostly based on that book and a short story I wrote years ago-- called "Starship Lost". In 1991, I decided to make my first Trek film-- and it was just for myself, family and friends in those days. I picked my fav book-- Chain of Attack, and combined it with my story and here is the result! I credited the author of the book in the opening and closing credits and I never hid the fact of the story origins. I finally remastered the film, and included deleted scenes and an updated soundtrack, and posted it here on KZbin. It amazes me that my no-budget film, made with just family and friends (Mom played the Captain!) is still being enjoyed to a brand new audience every day! It's an honor and a thrill indeed! Thanks for watching and commenting! It's appreciated!

Taking into account that this was made back in 1992, this wasn't my favorite fan made Star Trek film, but I truly liked it. I'd have to say CPT Navarro was a great CPT and could sit in the captain chair of any Enterprise named ship or the heavy cruisers and give her a promotion out of that little puddle jumper. LT Sonar...Sonak was AOK too....needed just a wee bit bigger shirt but hey...ya gotta work with what ya have. He played a great 1st officer although I don't think I ever really heard him referred to him as that. I can't remember if the red shirt died in the transporter blast but in ST canon at least one red shirt should die in each story. LOL. Overall the crew did a fantastic job in their respective roles. The entrance of Dr. Crandall was a bit overdone though with all the goofy camera head shots (especially of Dr. Crandall....just....seemed....looonnnggg). But I did like it when Navarro kicked him off and didn't put up with his crap. That was a very fine piece of take back the bridge. But the Lower Decker....(before the Lower Deckers were famous) going to Dr Crandall to complain about being Lost in Space and then conniving with him...or did she....I don't remember....was a bit silly of a story line....three months out of the academy and first assignment....she is about as low as they come on a starship. Anyway....I did enjoy most of this. Crew was my favorite part.

Helen and George, and to all the fine folks who were involved in this terrific film; You people definitely hit a home run with set design, costumes, and makeup. But especially congratulations on the story as a whole. Excellent plot, fine pacing. You didn’t seem to try and over reach on special effects, so important a thing to keep in mind. I have say, the deep underground sets were outstanding, looks like a lot of work went into its design and construction. I think a number of other amateur Star Trek fan-productions have tried to do too much in regards to the special effects and not enough attention to story, dialogue and good acting, and their final product suffers for it. You all certainly seemed to have balanced everything just right. You should be very proud of this motion picture. Any other projects after this one?

I appreciate you pointing this out-- but it is not some hidden secret. Chain of Attack and the author is credited in the opening and closing credits. This film is also based on a short story I wrote called Starship Lost. It is a combination of the two, and has always been acknowledged. Thanks for watching and commenting! Back in 1992 there was no internet audience-- I made the film based on the book and short story solely just for myself and family. And then these many years later, I posted it to share with my fellow fans. Well, we have years of positive reviews and have entertained an enormous amount of people. Not bad for a project made out of love and no money! The only thing that is so bad that it's funny is your opinion! Like your own KZbin channel, your opinion is bereft of content or importance. If you watch professional Trek-- you will see that Scotty, Uhuru (as they aged) remained in active duty as well as Kirk! Even in TNG, Riker gained weight as he aged... Your comment is highly inaccurate! I can't believe that if you are a fan of Trek, you don't understand this. Even the majority of older Klingons and many guest stars were overweight during TNG! Plus-- this is my film universe, and as the filmmaker, if I want to feature different body types-- that is my right to do so. I'm disappointed in your comment.
