First movie of the Multiverse Crisis trilogy. The USS Hannibal encounters an unknown energy gate and enters into another galaxy. Will they survive long enough to get home? Part One of Nine. This movie was filmed way back in 1992, and now has new visual effects and updated soundtrack. The whole film has been remastered from the original video tapes, and converted to HD. Enjoy!

Some fan club productions are better quality than others, just as some network episodes were better quality than others and they have a lot of funding. I have also found that many of the fan productions actually have better effects, storyline, etc than some of the network shows. Make the best of what you have and keep working. Eventually it will all come together. "Infinite diversity in infinite combinations."

I am really digging the crew at least in the 1st few minutes of the movie! they're all very believable, no overacting, and they all mesh so well together... A lot of times with some productions I find myself being thrown out of the universe because of little things, but not with this captain not with this crew... The captain has a very good presence a very captainly swagger as does her science officer ...all well done

And fitness requirements have been proven to be a non-factor-- just ask the older Scotty, Kirk, and the hundreds of other characters, pro- made Trek has feature over the years, and in various series. I say WE ALL PETITION CBS and make George Kayaian the next director of a big budget Star Trek film. With seasoned actors who can work on a budget like Axnar did except CBS proved he was stealing from his own production. That’s why people like George can’t make these films anymore unless things changed. I haven’t followed what’s going on with all that for like EVER so I may be out of date.

This is really good. I won't repeat technical complaints already addressed, but am impressed at the lengths you went to to capture the TOS atmosphere. As an old Trekkie I've enjoyed the plethora of trek fan films available. That said, I don't put too much stock into sets and special effects, they can be difficult and expensive. A well written story and characters more than make up for limits in production. Additionally fans who can actually act and well thought out cinematography are frosting on the cake for me. I am so surprised I found this Gem just today. I also love the artistic license taken with the USS Hannibal, the destroyer/scout classes truly needed a shuttle bay. Thanks for a great voyage!

I hope all the million dollars plus budget Trek producers watch this incredible movie and take note. THIS is what Trek is all about. A story. A story that has the meaning of adventure. Flashy hi-res visuals mean nothing, as was very well demonstrated here. Deep dives into characters that can't perform their duties because their father died, or they are sexually confused, or whatever, are vapid. This story has character conflicts, but THEY MOVE ON AND GET THE JOB DONE! I'm very impressed and will likely watch this again in the future when I need some REAL Trek.

Thank you George and everyone that helped you realize this excellent production from the early nineties! I really enjoyed it, will revisit it, share it and look at your other film projects. I became a fan by age five in 1976 so the era depicted here will always be my favorite. This was the Trek universe pre Next Gen. I worry about the future of the official franchise (film & TV) in 2018 with it's poor characterization, excessive violence, overly dark, cynical or shallow stories compared to the good thoughtful work presented here.

I read "Chain of Attack" you people did a great job staying true to the original storyline. Mr. Spock would say; "This was brought to the screen very well indeed" I'm sorry I don't have my library of original Star Trek books, there were so many great stories told that should have been on the screen, but I'm glad at least one of them made it!

I had also written a short StarTrek story, and in 1992 decided to combine them and make my first Trek movie. Back then, there was no internet, but after many years of hard work, I rented a theater and was able to show it on the big screen! This was in 1994. Then many years later, I remastered the film and posted here on KZbin. It's so awesome when great people like yourself are entertained by it! Solid sets for a nearly 30 year old fan film! Story was well conceived and executed. Navarro had a good sense of command presence, something a lot of other name-brand StarFleet captains and commanders lack. The actors were obviously amateurs but gave above-par performances well beyond most fan-film standards. Good to see one of StarFleet's workhorse vessels, the Saladin class, as opposed to yet another Constitution. Most Trek fan-films I regret wasting ten minutes watching but this one was enjoyable for the whole respectably lengthy run time. Thanks for sharing your film!

Really admire what you did here. Great work all around by everyone. Saw Spectre of the Gun in 1976 when I was five and have been hooked on this franchise ever since. TOS and TOS era stories like this are my favorite. I will look for the sequel. By the way the strong use of original sound effects really sell the vibe.

George, I just discovered this trilogy after watching all of the Antyllus episodes. This is great! So much work went into it, and all the actors did a fine job. Just . . . wow! What an accomplishment. It was fun to see what you looked like a long time ago. I see that you worked your way up the ranks from Transporter Chief to Captain (and changed your name - ha ha). I have not seen the next two episodes yet and I can't wait!! I discovered Star Trek Antyllus about 5 years ago and have eagerly watched each new episode. It was through your friend Trey and his Watch Party that I found these episodes. I have also sampled a few of your other non-Trek stories and will eventually watch all of them. A great imagination, and I can easily understand why you call it "Up All Night Productions". :D

Thank you for producing and posting. The camera seemed a little too close in many scenes, but otherwise; very well done film. Good story line, very true to the concepts of ST. True signs of dedication when one person has many different roles in the creation; as in the same person doing the screenplay, boom, editing, set design and acting. I know that I didn't get that example exactly correct, not intending to mention anyone specifically, but am impressed by the various roles each of you did. I look forward to more in future.

Helen and George, and to all the fine folks who were involved in this terrific film; You people definitely hit a home run with set design, costumes, and makeup. But especially congratulations on the story as a whole. Excellent plot, fine pacing. You didn’t seem to try and over reach on special effects, so important a thing to keep in mind. I have say, the deep underground sets were outstanding, looks like a lot of work went into its design and construction. I think a number of other amateur Star Trek fan-productions have tried to do too much in regards to the special effects and not enough attention to story, dialogue and good acting, and their final product suffers for it. You all certainly seemed to have balanced everything just right. You should be very proud of this motion picture. Any other projects after this one?

Overall, very interesting story! The acting wasn't so great but better than a lot of fan productions. Though I did find the plot point that the Hoshen and Ziator had been at war for centuries, each thinking the other to be "the Destroyers," despite the fact that neither one had the technology to be the Destroyers to be a poor plot point. And despite their long time war, and despite the fact that they hadn't even been able to communicate through all those years, they immediately were willing to cooperate against the USS Hannibal on the possible chance that the Hannibal crew were among the Destroyers. Despite the fact that Hannibal's actions were totally inconsistent with the non-communicative Destroyers who destroyed everything no questions asked. And despite the fact that they seemed to know themselves that it was unlikely the Hannibal were the Destroyers. When the Hoshen and Ziator said they can't fully trust anybody and need to be cautious even on the slimmest chance the Hannibal was part of the Destroyers, okay, I can buy that. They would need to be cautious and consider it at least a remote possibility they were being played. Sure, I can buy that. But, to just immediately join forces and attack the Hannibal? Bullshit!

Interesting analysis. I think you make good story points, and it's certainly worth thinking about. From a dramatic standpoint, it was fun to play around with the uncertainty of where the races stood with each other and the crew of the Hannibal. I guess you might say, everyone acted out of desperation and a form of long-term insanity after living such a stressful existence! Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!

I thought there would be no more star trek type fan films ever made. Boy, was i wrong. And i am glad i was. This movie is the best. I can say without a doubt that this was a fantastic film made by dedicated people who have kept the star trek franchise alive! You guys have done an excellent job. I am so sorry that there is no more films to be had. I would of like to see the other series and concluded the trilogy. I hope that someday this might be resolved.

Based off of a great Star Trek book, Chain of Attack. Literally the first book with the Hannibal taking the place of the Enterprise.

This film is also based on a short story I wrote called Starship Lost. It is a combination of the two, and has always been acknowledged. Thanks for watching and commenting! And then these many years later, I posted it to share with my fellow fans. Since then I've made two entirely original sequels to this movie (and as of this post) - 24 episodes of my Starship Antyllus series.
