You should have had someone who is mechanical and knows what they're doing grease and assemble it. You pack areas with grease where it will do nothing and you didn't put any grease in the bushings and on the shafts before inserting them, and that's where the wear and friction occurs. It's not 'just' the gears that need it.

Never use a metal mixer. It can nic the plastic pail and pull small plastic pieces off that will get in your Venetian plaster.

Food grade grease? You aren’t putting the motor in your food.

In my experience too much grease can cause things to work harder. Lot of times it's better to find the sweet spot so the motor doesn't work so hard

you can burnish ( polish n flatten ) from left to right or vicer vesus , buddy . you burnish or hard trowel in lots if circular directions depending what stage your on n it brings out the effects yo its all good b

If I need to go over two surfaces: new hardi board on the front face of the fireplace and painted orange peel textured walls on either side which return to the main wall, can I tape and use regular dry wall mud the corners, paint with Kilz, and then use the quartz primer on all three sides and not have to also do the feather finish product?

Bs if you know what your doing it doesn’t matter I can start in the middle of the wall and it looks great no special way of doing it if you have a brain

Is any wall really as smooth to begin with as a MDF board ---The question is older house drywall with the usual orange peel wall would you need to smoothwall plaster to make it smooth enough to use this product? How smooth is smooth?

I'm getting ready to do venetian plaster with artwork on my livingroom walls. I've watched lots of videos but yours are the most thorough and entertaining. Yea I've done plaster stenciling but not venetian plaster before so this will probably be trip of a learning experience. Lol I'm gonna practice a little bit on some sample boards then go for it. 😂 Wish me luck with veneziano venetian plaster products.
