You can find the download files in your download map I think, haven’t worked for a long time on a android device so I am not sure! But just to be use it has to be some kind of pc or laptop 😄

There are better alternatives other than Adobe. They’re in a lot of hot water for their hidden business practices. And they’re changing their users agreement, now they’re going to use AI to steal your content. It’s not a good look and creative are responding.
@Typefool8 күн бұрын
Hi! Thank you for sharing, what better alternatives are there do you think, similar to InDesign. I also saw a video that people are interpreting the user agreements wrong and that Adobe isn’t going to feed the algorithm with it but def something to be on the lookout for.

Have a quick question. When you are making modular grid, do you consider matching it to the baseline?
@Typefool13 күн бұрын
Hi Keith! Thank you for your question! Yes, when I work with a lot of text, I match my modular grid to the baseline grid. This ensures all text lines up consistently across the entire document. It helps maintain alignment and readability throughout the design. Is this something what you think would be interesting for another video?

how do you know how many columns, rows and gutters you need for your design?
@Typefool13 күн бұрын
Good question! I think the number of rows and columns depends on your content and design needs and the complexity of the layout you want. What you can do is start with a basic grid of 4 rows 8 columns, and adjust it based on how you want to structure text, images, and other elements.

Oh, I have a question, why sometimes in some books or editorials the margins are not on the centre of page, I saw a book of the futur, the margins were on right and top ( the space was less to the document edge compared to the opposite direction )
@Typefool16 күн бұрын
Yes sure! That's right Mohamed, often in books or magazines with a lot of pages, more margins are used on the inside where the fold is. Because this fold in the middle of the book which actually eliminates a space. Therefore, they more often give more margins to the page in the inside. To make the content look optically in the middle :).

My only issue is that the smallest variation of the logo looks like an italic serif "N", which might be confusing to some of the end users. I think you should have sticked with the "JOR" logotype. But overall I liked your video and the detailed description of your process. Keep it up.

Hey Jen, I feel ashamed to ask even more of you after this literal gold mine you have just dumped on us, but is it too intrusive to ask for the following? 1. Regarding the pinterest search, which search terms do you use, and do you have a strategy to come up with them? 2. How many days do you take in each step? On average of course (Brand Strategy Definition, Moodboarding, Stylescaping, Sketching and Refining) I think this is very important to handle the client's expectation correctly. You earned yourself a subscriber. Really looking towards your next drops.
@TypefoolАй бұрын
No worries Daniel, happy to hear your questions, and thank you for subscribing, welcome to the channel! To give anwers to your questions: 1. I think you mean visual research with interest search? I usually dive into Pinterest, and search for my visual words and usually add logo design behind that. But also I often find inspiration on the go. Since I am also in my free time just browsing projects etc, I almost always come across something which is useful for the project and drop it on the Pinterest board. And via this pin you can eventually find more of the same style. 2. Around 1/2 days discovery session. 3/4 days brand strategy, moodboarding & stylescape 1 week, sketching and refining also 1/1,5 weeks. In total with presentations it makes around 4 weeks for the logo design. Hope this was helpful! and thanks again for subscribing and happy to hear you liked this video!
