I wouldn't say it's snap on quality, but definitely on par with cornwell and matco mac

I don't understand the necessity for savagely strong tools anyway. Why do I need to put 550ft lbs on a 10mm wrench? If the bolt is in too tight for me to use a rachet I'm just going to turn it into liquid anyway.

Honestly, I work on heavy equipment and ohw trucks for a living and have for a long time… I was a Snap On and Matco guy…. I have not bought anything besides Icon for the last couple years, I love these tools, the cost, quality, and ol Harbor freight is right there to replace them… and (PLUS) Harbor Freight will discount Icon tools when the kits are ravaged to replace specific items.. so just go on a haul and get them. (Double) ended ratcheting box wrenches are fkn awesome!!!!

Too bad Icon don't sell wrenches and sockets individually. What happens when you lose 1? Buy another set? Kinda dumb.

I like icon stuff but for the hammers i would get pittsburgh hammers. Its a hammer....and if it breaks it has the same warranty. I am going to get some icon wrenches, pliers and screwdrivers

I always used the less expensive tools even when I was working as a professional technician. Harbor Freight was a total joke back then and the Icon line didn’t exist but I have a tool box with a mix of Snapon, Icon, S&K, Mac, Matco, Husky,Craftsman. 😂 but nowadays if I need new tools I just go to HF and get Icon because of price and also because tool trucks don’t come to my yard where my equipment is stored 😂 I’m sure I’d have a Snapon balance if a truck came to my yard.

Icon wobblers are not good. Wrenches and sockets are good for the money.

Do you have the latest ICON anti-slip wrenches that are all the rage on tick tok?
@GNX15722 күн бұрын
I have a few ICON tools but never had to exchange a broken one yet. With a wrench, do you take the broken one back or the whole set and what do they replace? Also, do they offer ratchet rebuild kits? I’ve really enjoyed serving and rebuilding my snap on ratchets over the years. I’ve also had some replaced with new when they didn’t have the rebuild kits for the ratchet, pivot pin , or locking pivots etc.

Great build. A fan power cut off heat sensor switch at the barrels along with a thermostat 30 ft away from the stove and it’s almost automatic. Just add fuel lumber and stuff. 😊

SO Fanboy, "Snap-On is better because they will break at 1,000 ftlbs of force, while an Icon will break at 900!". Yeah, because that's how much you tighten your Oil Drain Plug, for an oil change.

I have a ton of snap on Mac cornwell and matco. Now I have alit of icon, capri, gear wrench and tekton. They are all working and making me money. The haters would rather talk about their tools than use them. Cool, you have all snap on. Let me know when you need help on a b level technician job.
