Love the modular concept! Add another packout with a solar label charging a 12v battery in the main box. Might need a fan in the box. Great work!

Just found the channel and you have a nice groove going. Never thought of using packout as project box like this. Clever af.

I'd love to see you do this with a starlink MINI...

Great concept and tutorial. Very creative. Any reason you decided to put the aluminum between the PACKOUT and starmount?

I absolutely love this. I'd love to reach out to you and ask more questions. I literally want exactly this for my Starlink. Fantastic idea. Very well done. 👏🏼

cool, any chance that the packout locks could be 3D printed rather than slicing up a case

For the rj45 connector, have you noticed any issues with your connection? It doesn't look like it's shielded and the starlink cables call for shielding. That's why I've been hesitant to put an rj45 connector in and instead just have the cable run through a waterproof cable passthrough.

It won’t get hot in that container with all those components in it?

Do you sell these?

Can you shiw it being used? Im confused on how it rotates and goes up and down to find the satellite.
@mylifeisdope916 Жыл бұрын
they dont really have to move. they have a wide "viewing window" that can pick up the satellite signal. thats how the bigger version works. hardmounted, no movement
@gb1613 Жыл бұрын
Starlink is a whole array of satellites so you don't need to point the receiver in a specific direction like with old singular Dish Network type satellites which orbit 20k+ miles out in the southern sky in geostationary orbit.

It would be even better, if you could fit a 20Ah battery inside of that box,

I dont know if i can purposely damage a perfectly good Milwaukee Packout. That seems sac religious. I'd probably go to hell for it.
