I think most specialist powers end up being similar is because the human desire in people is quite similar. When you try to be creative and think of things that "would be strong" you end up with healing, copying, time manipulation and stuff like invisibility etc.

Not every nen user has the ambition it takes to create post mortem nen. Only a very few onen like those with a huge grudge onbsomeone for example. (Kurapika would most likely as his entire ability is created around his hate for the phantom troupe.) Hisoka made a pact with his Nen just moments before he died, wasnt even sure it would work, and only did it because he didnt want chrollo to get away with this rigged fight. Neon wasnt such a person. Furthermore, its heavily implied that she is responsible for ger demise. So why would any post mortem nen activate if the user has a wish to not exist?

your theory has one problem. By the time of the auction, Hisoka WAS INDEED a member of the troupe. While he defected and intended to do so from the begining, he was counted as one of the twelve moons.... AND HE DIED. In the fight at the coliseum, he actually died, which means there has been 5 deaths already. That means that if shizuku is next, the rest of the troupe if free of charges. Specially because there will be noone else from that original group who were told straight that they were going to eat it.
