Welp, after Vanguard was introduced, the following things changed: 1) Bots are gone, that is right, no more bots, also can't use VPNs to mask location data to play on other servers anymore either; Which means international servers are all dead after 1am from Iron to Silver and from Diamond to Challenger during weekdays, don't even bother queuing. Challenger is dead outside of the weekends, no point queuing during the week. Hell queue is twice as grindy now, yes it is now easier to climb with the 25points per win, but good luck finding matches outside of the brief 5 hour peak window and for players in Bronze that is just 3 to 6 games, because no one surrenders when they should or they surrender when they shouldn't! 2) It stopped the rampant cheating, but didn't stop the constant trolling. Win trading, duo top/jungle deranking trolls and angry kids who get auto filled into a role they didn't want, continue to soft feed or sabotage games like they have in the past, however, now without bots on teams, their behaviour is beyond obvious, so why isn't Riot punishing them now?

I dont know but I dont believe that there's an easy champion or hard champion, it depends in your rank. You can play "hard to use" champs easy in iron, and "easy to play" champions hard on apex tiers. It all depends on your elo, there's no easy champ, they are all hard to play if you're on masters and above. Only actual easy champ regardless of your rank is garen. 7:28

Maokai kinda missing in the easiest champs , hes tank with point n click cc that also gives him imune frame, lane wide ult and sapling make facechecking not a thing + gives free zone control/vision.

Riot used bot for support roles so many times since nobody plays this role in plat or emerale. Theu just moves around, sticks to adc, spam skills then die, or when adc died, they go back to fountain (not even use B button). Riot sucks when they split ranks and made it so easy to rank up. Such a disaster.

I'm certain you are wrong and I feel like the game would have done better overall with the old system. I watched everyone of my friends quit because of the new rune system and I am basically the only one that still plays and I have gained a very firm understanding between what the differences are. I first started playing during the time of the old runes around when jinx and gnar came out and as a new player then I was not perplexed or confused as you hinted that I would be. It was too simple to get confused. In my head if you are so dumb you cant understand what flat stat runes do and which ones you need for a character then you didn't need to be on league to begin with. I think those problems are even worse now. I have played this game for 10 years now and I figured out old runes faster than this convoluted mess we got now. Not to mention its streamlined now too. So everyone and their dog is forced to pick from limited options of convoluted poopoo and its really not that great. I miss the excitement old league had with its simplicity versus the convoluted mess of shit we got now. Remember when champ abilities were only 1 or 2 sentences instead of paragraphs? I would even argue that if you had the same level of customization for both runes in pregame lobbies that newer players would be far more capable of understanding what they need with the old runes and the simple to understand flat stats rather than having to read mile long passives that you will have to make mental notes when it is active all game. It is fucking maddening what they have today and that is 100% the reason why when you get out of games now its a sigh of relief instead of a victory cry and rally. I just really think if they had kept the old runes and gave us the pregame lobby customization with that the game would have done much better. As for the cost thing that it a simple fix too. WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT NORMS SO ALL RUNES FREE IN RANKED.
