yeah, most of the western media doesnt account for Chinese viewership as they are very hard to find reputable numbers. Also the Chinese website sometimes uses different metrics for their stream.

another thing to keep in mind is after Worlds 2023, a good amount of chinese fans lost interest as they were not able to stop T1 & Faker even after having several LPL teams at worlds, several LPL pros who also streams talked about it including DoinB. meanwhile League viewership is on the rise again worldwide basically offsetting the viewership lost in the LPL scene. I even know a lot of JP Valorant streamers who turned into playing league after Worlds '23 and is still grinding ranked games up to this day.

Pretty sure, Zeus dropping wards during the last clash did not help them at all. I understand the purpose of dropping wards but at that time, Faker is too far away from Bin to be AAed and Zeus is on stasis. So instead of actually helping, Bin used the ward to stack his Ult passive. T1 won the fight nonetheless.
