From a purely utilitarian standpoint, Light is pretty much correct. We were told (assuming Light wasn't lying) that crime rates and war across the world had fallen. The true issue was Light's god complex. If the Death Note had been used purely based off of logic, then a perfect world as Light imagined would actually have been in reach.

Ooh! I love your William Afton depiction so much! He's so- normal??? Aside from a few smiley slip, your William doesn't come across as a murderer in first glance. He doesn't smile weirdly all the time when bad things happen like lots of gachatuber makes him to be. Hes not aggressive or violent but cold and rational in a twisted way instead. And I love how hard it is to know what's William is thinking! Something about this William really grips me, it really gets me to wanting to know more about him in a way.
