2012 Kings are only 8th seed to win the cup, going 16-4, 2nd only to the 87-88 Oilers. Midwest and East Coast had zero clue to what was coming until they were down 3 games to none. Arizona was the only team that took them seriously.

When Loob once in a while had a bad day he was on level with the rest. A bit exaggerated but just a bit.

Us fans owe those guys a lot. They sacrificed their brains and bodies to bring 3 cups to Chicago. I’ll never forget the 2010s and the parades. It was a great time to be a Chicago hockey fan.

That’s the thing about sports man. You win a Stanley Cup, World Series, Championship, Super Bowl, etc and immediately after it’s yesterday. These guys won 3 Stanley Cups within 6 years. THREE CUPS! The 2nd one in Boston will always be my favorite. Such an awesome finals game. I’ll always cherish this team and all those games because nothing ever lasts in sports. Not too long ago the Blackhawks did all this and now look. Everybody is chanting “Conor Bedard” and Kaner, Toews, Crawford, Sharp, Shaw, Keith, etc are basically forgotten. Cherish the moments when you and your team are on top, because those moments aren’t going to last forever.

I'm Nicaraguan myself in my mid-40s and played hockey when I was younger. Because of lack of connections, I wasn't able to get into the junior leagues in Canada. Oh well. Life goes on but it's nice to see others made it. 👍

Winnipeg is in Manitoba, not Alberta; the original Jets may have had problems, but being "the third team" in a province dominated by the Flames and Oilers wasn't among them.

I love the video it was amazing 🤩!! You forgot to mention Alec Martinez, Matt Nieto and José Théodore. Guerin wasn’t the first Hispanic to be drafted it was Ernie Vargas who participated in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft and he was selected by the Montréal Canadiens in the 117 selection.

I have a fear of flying so I think with the amount of road games I might have just quit after a few years just because the flights would stress me out more than the games. Haha.

Scott Steven’s elbow on Kariya was dirty. Stevens was always a dirty player. He always tried to maim his opponents. He practically ended Lindros’ career.
