I did the monk epic in classic as well as Phinigel. On Phinigel, Targin the Rock, was the worst camp I've ever done in EQ. I know this will be laughable comparably, but I spent 35ish hours trying to get Targin. Raster on the other hand, wasn't bad. I spent 4 hours camping him, went to sleep and then spent another hour the next morning and he spawned. Monk epic, overall isn't hard, just a lot of potentially long long camps. Endurance camps if you will.

I would've thought Rubicite would've been higher. It was all/all with a heal iirc

6 shackles per turn in from an uncommon spawn in a dangerously populated difficult to navigate area with random reward is pretty brutal to be honest. did it four times and gave up after getting two helmets and two gloves.

Steamfont mtns is the closest druid port to mistmoor. Also as an iksar you can vendor at all the druid rings except NK, EK and sfg. Wc you can if you approach her from the left. Away from the 2 druid npcs.

they should've removed cobalt greaves; giving invis to warriors was pretty game-breaking when only a handful of people had those - i know its trivial now, but warriors were the only class that had no way to avoid combat (root, invis, FD, fear, snare, or something) and those were the first item to really break that limitation. (To be fair, that was in the days where warriors were inarguably stronger group/raid members than hybrids, but also required less XP. EQ is funny.)

They completely changed Quillmane now and made it that you need a ranger to track her

One big ass nerf was the one performed on the lvl 49 necro pet dual wielding daggers pre-Kunark. So powerful it could solo full exp frogs in Lower Guk and it would destroy any lvl 50 warrior in a duel, regardless of gear. It was absurdely overpowered :)

My 1999-2001 rogue got her JourneymanBoots off Drelzna. Took me 3 days of staying awake to get to my turn to kill her when camping them. One of the best moves I made in my EQ career.

Does Mayong ever spawn in P99? I remember in 99 or prob 00 the GMs spawned a lvl 50 Mayong in his castle, I wanna say I heard of it 2x but thats not much for 25 years of a game where the mob popped for a few hours. I believe you see him in the water in Everfrost Peaks when doing the Staff of the Wheel quest. edit-------Doh should have listened for a few mins before I posted, hehe nice.--------edit
