You probably regained 2” in height in that room with all those tile layers gone, lol. And ignore the folks yelping about asbestos. We had to remove a layer of a bestie tiles from my home and we were told a few cracks I ant something to fret about. It’s when they get crushed that it becomes worrying- or if you’re handling them often.

Just glad you had a mask on as some of the old tiles can have slight asbestos content. But watching your dad with the router makes me think that he knows his stuff. The finish should look great 👍
