I think the dining room table top would look nice a washed out white - chalk paint and then wiped over with a damp cloth then waxed. A really great find and beautiful for Christmas.

I’m not sure I’d polish the brass wall candleholders to be honest. I think they may have always been “antiqued finish” - in other words they didn’t start out as being bright and shiny. I may be wrong and it’s hard to judge from a distance, you might want to test a small area that’s not visible (eg on the back) before you set about it with great enthusiasm! You might find that you remove the antique finish but it doesn’t shine up as you want it to - so the worst of both worlds. So go gently would be my advice

Those tiles are worth hundreds. The frame on first picture is 200 to 300 just for frame.
