My burn tool is not working, i made three rectangles of these colors and then tried to apply burn tool by rubbing it on those rectangles but nothing happened no darker color appeared.what should i do?

GREAT tutorial on the eraser tool… BUT I always recommend using layer masks as it isn’t destructive and I can go back and forth by editing the greyscale mask Do you have a tutorial on layer masks….? (is it already covered in your LAYERS tutorials?) (I sent it to my father who is struggling with Photoshop because he doesn’t have the patience to learn it ALL correctly - I keep telling him that if he just took the time he would be saving himself a whole lot of frustration and TIME but he knows better of course) Thanks
