Appreciate it. Yep, the interactions definitely have less lag now for smoother fights. Though there'll still be moments here and there, its better then how it was on day one. And if you'd like, there are other pvp showcases on the channel to see.

Dope bro! Im in ng+3 but really like my 5th run and im enioying this gane so soo much lol. I gotta do the dark crusader quest to unlock the blade special, gonna probs do it tomorrow. Are the daggers special better than the long sword?

I'd say in terms of effectiveness, the daggers special attack is better than the swords because the daggers are alot faster and you get burn build up. Plus you can get stunned out of the motion when using the special on the swords a bit easier. The spell Severing Blades can be a better alternative to the sword's since you can use it quicker.

If you're referring to the ice projectiles, that spell is called Puncturing Hail. This one drops from the Griefbound enemy in Fief of the Chill Curse

@@israellopez9766 Those projectiles are from the 2 Handed Special Attack on the Horned Skull. They are similar to the umbral spell Misery Missile. To use the Special Attacks, press the Multi-Hit Attack: [L1 + R2] | [LB + RT] | (Block + Heavy). I do a showcase of both at starting at 9:57

Nice video bruh, I liked the co op you should do more of that. I like the daggers but I hate when people abuse it in co op cuz I want to try different builds and they keep cleaning mobs very fast not giving you a chance to land a hit. I would like to try the lightreaper spear although it’s not the best out there. Btw the summoning for the fight in upper calrath fight isn’t working after the latest patch, I tried accompanying 3 different players and all of them had the same bug, so no lightreaper special and no kukajin quest.

Appreciate it. Yeah the daggers really pack a punch. It's neat how the special attack looks like fire whips. Regarding the issue with lightreaper, wow I didn't even know players were now having issues. From the last patch, it was mentioned they removed lightreaper after the tutorial boss, and I honestly think that was unnecessary. Lightreaper sets the tone of how the game can be and removing him from the beginning throws off that flow. Especially considering how the opening cutscene ends.

2:30 BOOM 💥 😂 3:47 Double parry baby 😮 From what I saw the Horned Skull fist weapons definitely got nerfed, idk it’s hard to tell unless I take my version out for a spin again to clarify. Those fist weapons used to be a problem for people in PvP

That double parry was so epic. Never though I'd get one of those here. The Horned Skull Fist still pack a punch. Had a host invade me with a strong umbral setup with it while I waited for some fights. But he was being a bit cheesy popping heavenly vails. Got me in the end though. And yeah the 1 Handed AOE is quite nice.

Dang you almost got the reposte on that first fight. However he still would’ve “won” because of Umbral. 1:23 Was that a Lords burrito I just saw? Did got hit by projectile & then got grabbed by the reposte 😮😮😮😮

Yeah. I think had I removed the status I could have turned it around, but the host was chill so I decided to keep the heal away. But I'd maybe use one if we got to into umbral. Yep I got the reposte just as the projectile went through.

If you're referring the item on the beam above the vestige, at the 1:38 mark, if you look to the right, there is a path you can take up to the roof area. Once on top move forward a bit turn to the right in the part of the roof where there is lots of fire. Be careful, there will be an enemy with fire axes. You should see an area where you can jump down and it will lead to that beam.

*WOULD YOU LIKE A REPOSTE WITH YOUR PARRY SIR?* Gonna be honest I didn’t see a reason to do all the little tedious things for this weapon. Even though it is cool that there’s more to the weapon than just it being a stick. If it was a cool weapon for PvP then I for sure would have grabbed footage for it. Yes I would. The parry/reposte in this game is so cool with how its integrated with the posture system. And I agree with you; this weapon is quite neat in how it works, but with all the steps you have to complete to unlock its true potential, it be cool if the self buff(s) lasted longer and the weapon overall did more damage. No worries Chosen; totally understand if you're busy with things. Rather you take care of you and important things first. Appreciate it none of the less.

Thanks man. Yeah I'd say I like Puncturing Hail a bit more than Hibernal Cleave mainly since you have to be in a certain position for Cleave to work well and the damage for it isn't too big imo. But I still like them both including Grieving Gaze, if only the Gaze wasn't so stat heavy.

Those switches between the one handed special & two handed seems pretty nasty 😅 4:50 nice two piece served up 6:40 *WTF WAS UP WITH THAT LAG* 🤢 7:50 dang if you hadn’t gotten your posture broken that may have ended differently Great fights on this one Allied! Love the special combos that’s pretty smart to use them like that. Start off trying to catch someone with the sweep & then follow up (whether the sweep hit or not) with the two handed over head slam that has hyper armor & causes knock back

Thanks Chosen. Yeah the encounters went really well with Hushed Saints Halberd. At first I didn't think the special moveset would be to interesting, but I was wrong. On this setup it really packed a punch but was actually quite fun to use once I got the hang of it. Both the 1 handed and 2 handed can work in many situations.

Hushed Saint’s halberd is my fav boss weapon along with Tancred’s mancatcher, the poison build up along with the poison ring and the poison weapon spell makes this weapon an hp mosquito. Great content my friend, you got a subscribe and keep uploading those lotf videos.

Appreciate it. Yea Hushed Saint is one of my favorite bosses and with his halberd being one of the mid early Remembrance weapons a player can get, on a good setup, it can really pack a punch. Especially with the special attacks.

I’ve been trying to set a good build for tancred’s set but the damage is always ass compared to other weapons … I put the vixys for more bleed … the build works well with early bosses but then it becomes a joke against later bosses … you got any advice ?

Aye @thesun4892, for your build, if you have the Radiance Stat high enough, you could also add the spell buff Lacerating Weapon and Vortex Of Torment as both do bleed up and the Vortex inflicts both bleed and physical damage. The Ammunition called the Imbruing Chalice can be good to try as well along with the Ring of Sanguine Might. To also mention, I believe bleed works as a damage multiplier. Once it proc's, it will deal a bit of burst and tick damage, along with increasing the physical damage dealt by the player while enemy has the status inflicted on them.

@@alliedblade7663 I tried doing it three ways, one as full radiance build, one as wither/radiance, and lastly one as bleed/radiance, the full radiance gave the best damage. I just don’t understand why they gave it D scaling on both strength and agility, and it I think it’s stupid they gave the two handed special the same as the spell you can buy from his remembrance. I also tried using the infernal eruption to fill the gap for how the weapon is weak, the spell is very op but costs a lot of mana.

@@thesun4892 Yeah with how the scaling is set, it seems the devs wanted this weapon to go full route with a pure radiance build. And your right, that route is the damage dealer. It's kinda cool that if you buff Tancred's Mancatcher with Radiant Weapon before using the special attacks it increase the holy damage for them. And the two handed special does a bit of Smite build-up which can also be increased from the spell or salts.

@@alliedblade7663 yeah I tried the specials with the radiant weapon spell and it was very powerful. I tried giving it a second thought that this weapon might have been developed for players who want a challenge, like it’s not an easy win weapon like the light reaper’s daggers.

Thanks dude. Yeah the halberd is quite neat with its moveset, especially with how the special ability works. Having the poison along side is a good way to keep pressure up on enemies to kinda have like a snowball effect. Besides Pieta's Sword, I tend to see this weapon alot as well.

Aye @Sohelanthropus, essentially right now I'm showcasing weapons with Special Abilities and trying other spells/tools along the way. If you can get it on a sale, I'd say its worth a shot. It still has its flaws, but its better than how it was on day one. In regards to the ER dlc, I wish I could give an input, but I still haven't tried it. It's not that I hate the game, but for the time being, I just have no real interest in playing it. I might get it at some point, but for now that idea is in limbo.

Is there still no range lvl on invasions ?? Or being invaded?

Hey @redachibel7545 from how I understand the invasions work when invading and being invaded, the game will try and pair you with someone within your level range. However at times, if there is no one within vicinity that's around your level, the game can pair you with someone much higher or lower than you. From one of the patches, there should be player scaling to help balance the encounter if the levels are far apart.

1:06 oof my guy styled with the reposte into Barrage of Echoes 2:20 dude wasn’t expecting that incinerating blast to the face 😅 🔥 3:08 nice run back I kinda take back what I said about giving guy style point credits. All he did on this encounter was spam Barrage. It’s like the Umbral equivalent to spamming Orius but not as effective. He also wasn’t utilizing the unlock play when casting it either. Dude probably saw a cookie cutter build somewhere I’d imagine The combo on the seventh encounter you did was sexy 😍 One handed multi hit into two handed multi hit on wake up into Blistering Salvo punish 👌🏼 Video seemed like a rough start but seems you started getting dialed in later in the video with the build. That two piece served up at 6:50 👊🏼 Nicely done bro 😎

Thanks dude. Yeah this was my first time using a Grand Hammer and it had been a minute since I last did invasions on lords. But once I got the hang of things again, the encounters went fairly well. Queens Head Hammer was quite fun to try out; I possibly might do another showcase on it. For now though I intend to do a showcase on some of the other weapons with a Special Ability. Appreciate it as always.

That chase down while in Umbral in the beginning 👏🏼 That second fight with the reposte on the phantom was straight up dope So one thing I did notice is how bad Briar Storm is. I knew it would be bad but seeing someone else’s point of view using it makes me not even want to try to use it *AT ALL* 5:05 holy sh😮t 6:55 nice roll catch Great video bruh. Nice use of other radiant spells besides the norm 👍🏼

Thanks dude. During encounter 3 when I was fighting the player with double Pietas swords and kept getting parry's, I was just baffled and lowkey laughing. Like they didn't even try another move. As mentioned they were quite committed. And yeah Briar Storm at times isn't exactly a hard hitter, but when using Anchorite's Ring, you'll have more defense/poise so you won't het knocked out of it to easily. In certain situations it can be a neat spell to use. I might try out Flame Funnel for one of the other inferno weapons. All in all with the spells used and Tancred's Mancatcher, the invasions were quite fun. I really like the Smiting Shield spell. Appreciate you stopping by.

It could be either the connection or perhaps the other player may not have a matching password. There was a moment I was trying to summon a player who was on Xbox while I was on PSN. We had the same password, but they couldn't join my game while I hosted. However I was able to join them as a co-oper. Double check the connection on each end and/or the password. Hope this helps.

Also to mention, have each player close down the game and restart it to see if that helps as well. Sometimes staying in idle too long in the game can cause this.
