Did you have the block squared, decked, and torque plate honed?? I've heard our blocks are not very square from an experienced builder

It depends on the mileage on the block and other things ..... but This was a brand new block .but I did push it to hard on 93 pump gas and melted a few pistons and had to re built it and I went ahead and had it bored .010 over just clean up basically and I done all new pistons of course and bearings again even tho bearings looked good

It depends on what the offset of the wheel is and how wide .Im running 35x12.5x20 with 20x10 wheels with -19 offset .I did have to tuck the fender liner back and removed the front factory mud flaps as I call them .but they clear just fine after that

On the fuel level sensor I understand one wire is ground and one is power. How do you know which one is which? Or does it not matter? I noticed that they’re labeled with Roman numerals, one is I on the left and III on the right

Definitely have a issue going on if it's bending all of the push rods on one side could be out of time and the valves are hitting the pistons then bending the push rods but they could be a few different reasons

I’m not a mechanic but I’m mechanically minded being a contractor/developer. I have a brand new showroom 2022 scat pack 6.4L 392 HEMI. I specifically bought this as a 3rd car for me to enjoy and work on, I stayed away from a Hellcat purely to have a project and build the Scat up to something with 750hp range, nothing crazy. Would you be so kind as to let me know what to change if I install a whipple supercharger. Obviously the basics such as stronger rods, forged pistons. Should I change the transmission and the cam shaft? These are the things I done know, I guess just understanding what you would do if you wanted the engine to be solid and easily handling 10-12lbs of torque without long term issues. Your videos are the best I’ve seen, whatever you recommend I’ll be buying it and installing myself, I have watched your 3 part video a few times me memorized it haha.

thanks ....id do the mmx / modern muscle extreme drop in piston and rod combo 2618 like i did.or the drop ins from flying ryan performance there both good kits along with a custom mmx cam or frp cam / arp head bolts with .040 cometic head gaskets the stock main bolts are good for over 900hp so theres not really a reason to up grade them unless you want to make over 1000hp . and you will need valve springs psi 1511 spring kit also for the cam and all the other stuff like gaskets and so on and you will need bigger injectors and will need to upgrade the fuel pump with a fore innovation's drop in return less kit or you can go full return style but if your only want 750 wheel the drop in returnless kit will be fine .... your computer will also need to be unlocked and 18 up cars also require a bypass cable also then you will need hptunners and find you a good tuner to tune the car and i would add a boost gauge and a aem wide band for afr .......i would also look into doing a mcloud rxt clutch and flywheel were your a manual and prop also do a short throw shifter /and also add a rear brace for the diff....... and a one peace drive shaft and a drag wheel and tire combo if you plan to take it to the track ......if you need help with some parts or install or tuning i work for American muscle performance are north location .

They come factory with a 392 gear and limited slip diff .if your only spinning one wheel and it's a real rumble bee then you have a issue with the diff. Or the clutches are bad

I like to use a new one but you can reuse the old one if needed just put blue lock tight on the threads on the cam bolt and tq to 90ftlb

I think it's putting it all together. I got 2018 dodge challenger scat 392 I done just about everything you did but the pcm I got from Diablo had problems. I been looking for help . Don't want a strip car nice street rod

usually like to use hp tuners when tuning . the pcm will need unlocked and 18 and up also requires a bypass cable . then find a tuner to tune the car lots of good tuners out there

How did you loosen the nuts directly on the transmission? The shift linkage, and a hole for a bracket was in the way on my car preventing a wrench. I see those two things on yours to. Also the bottom line prevents you from getting to the top one inconveniently.

Why is the plug required for the regulator on pass side? For the return pump mechanism to work correctly?

the pass side / transfer pump the line on top of the hat is the main fuel line on the factory system but your actual fuel pump is on the dr side the pass side works and has a venture effect to trans fer fuel to the dr side were the tank is a saddle shape you have to plug the regulator and cap the nipple on the top of the hat. one so fuel dont come out 2 so it will work properly with the new system so it will trans fer the fuel over to the driver side and not suck air if you buy the full fore innovations fuel system l2 l3 l4 etc etc it will come with everything needed

How can I get the most reliable power out of a hellcat 2023 I wanted to do a 2.75 upper 10 percent lower Want to be running over 800 wheel as a daily on pump gas Is it possible ?

a non red eye you can do a 2.85 upper with a 10%lower a jms boosta pump with fic 1000cc inj or if you plan to do e85 go with fic 1200cc injectors then of course tuning and youll need ngk 2309 spark plugs gapped at roughly .026 /.024 and you will need a pcm unlock and a bypass cable and hp tuners and do a mr gasket 180deg t stat part number 4367 .but that pulley combo on 93 on a other ys stock hellcat non red eye will make low 800 wheel thats bout the limit for 93 oct on a hellcat and bout as far as you want to push it with 93 . then you can retune it on e85 and make close to 900wheel on the same pulley combo you can drop to a 2.75 upper on e but you dont want to over spin the stock supercharger much harder than that unless you port it and upgrade the bearings

​@@ErinLopez-ng9qh low 800wheel is bout the limit for 93 pump gas on a hellcat with a stock blower unless you have some super efficient set up then it will make a little more if you push it to hard on 93 you can damage the pistons etc from detonation etc . and also on the 2.4 factory blower you do not want to over spin it for a long period of time you can damage the bearings in the blower . also harder you spin it the more heat it will make everything has a limit the 2.75 and smaller and with a 10% lower is starting to get to the limit for a stock 2.4 hc supercharger with factory bearings . like i have said on a stock hc with a 2.85 upper and 10% lower with a bap and inj / plugs and re tune on 93 youll be in the low 800 wheel range given the conditions and type of dyno last one i did made 830s to the wheels on are dyno at work on 93 ...... now switch to e85 on the same pulley combo and you will be close to 900wheel . ... and for the wheels and tires youll need the shorter rear sway bar links to fit 18/17 inch wheels you can run a 305/45/17 in the rear no prop . but 315/ 50 /17 on a regular body car non wide body depending the wheel spec and brand usually need a 1/4 plate spacer /and need to clearance the inner fender liner/ on the wide bodys they normally clear

WOW MAN! You got the exact same mods my dad has on his 2024 1500 Limited Red Edition 5.7L HEMI Crew Cab Long Bed and I do on my 2024 Silverado 2500 ZR2 BISON edition 6.6L gasser. My dad did the shorty headers and did a custom true dual full straight pipe (so no catalytic converter’s, resonators or mufflers) with 3” tubing throughout. He did a 6”x4” custom lift kit with custom heavier duty springs, control arms, brackets etc. in the front and back (we hate spacers, as they don’t provide much suspension capability because of the factory control arms or shocks). So 6” in the front and 4” in the back, to lift it and level it out. He hated the low profile tires and the very tall but extremely narrow 22x8.5” rims that come on the Night Edition and Red Edition trucks. So he replaced them as well. I think he put 18x9’s on there, but I’m not 100% sure (we’re small rims, more meaty tires kind of guys). But he’s got the exact same tires you got. He has enough room for 37s or 38s and could probably do 40s without any rubbing if he did a little trimming and cutting, but he doesn’t want to go that big because he don’t want the tire to be hitting the top of the inner fender every time he goes over a tiny little bump. My truck I’m still working on the lift kit since there hasn’t been one released yet for the ZR2, but it’s got 35’s on 18s from the factory so it’s fine for right now. But I do have a cold air intake and a true dual full straight pipe with shorty headers (only difference is I went with 4” tubing throughout though since I got a bigger engine). Sorry for the long comment😂. Your truck looks incredible man!

depends on the power level and boost its best to just buy the forged rods and pistons 2618 as a set . the forged pistons for stock rods are pacific to be used with stock rods with just forged pistons on a stock 6.4 rod your limited to roughly 700 wheel give or take any more and your risking it . while if you just do the forged rod and piston combo from the start along with arp main and head studs your good to handle 1000 plus wheel
