Something that caught me fully off guard was that davarit didnt die earlier as shown in the official video, in which he was killed shortly before zombta killed the sultan. My best guess is that Ish took the death message "Davarit was slain by Arthromex", took out the "sultans blessing" part and retconned it so Zombta would have a just reason to kill the sultan (avenging davarit, who in reality didnt die until way later). It´s a small change, and i see why it was done, but it changes a lot of the implications in the story

I love that Ish's video is literally "history is written by the victors" and this is a new perspective. This video deepens the lore so much but still makes me like Ish's video even more given how it demonstrates the sensationalization of history. this is all way more complex than it should be.

In the ish's video, it shows that davarit died at like day 6 or smt, so I wonder what really happened now since he was alive at final battle

I always felt like theria was glamorized so it’s cool to see the other POV. Also I think I wish there was conflict in three out of four islands and seeing them in the different terrains would have been so much cooler. That being said I’m sure ish had his reasons and the end product was still dope anyways.

I really don't care if Ish altered things, it made for a better storyline arc and it was one of the best civ videos I've ever seen.. I've always thought there had to be some sort of scripting and changing going on since there was so many well timed cinematic shots.. But also I love seeing your side of the event, it's just more content :D

If Ish Plans To Do Another Civilization Video. Im Defidently Starting An State.

The whole “social experiment” part really started dying off with how many arbitrary rules were put into place (no PvP near the start), as well as artificially creating storylines. I am honestly surprised that Ish cut out the “Death to Theria” subplot of the final battle for the video. Not only was it dishonest to straight up lie about how the two traitors died, but the real ways they died was actually way cooler and more entertaining for the video. The traitors being killed for revenge near the final battle by the Sultan’s mates was actually a cool way to finish off the Desert arc for the video. But no, in the final video one of the traitors was killed by some random guy in the final battle. But at least the other traitor was immediately killed by the Sultan’s mates in 2E2G, even if it was dishonest. I know we were told to not smack talk Ish; I still like him, but I think there were ways to make it an honest AND entertaining experience. I recommend everyone watching the 2 - 3 hour “Behind the Scenes” on the “Ish 2” channel.

I think the best thing about these videos would be to let the players get what they want out of it. If they build peacefully, then that. If they're just farming or exploring, then that. If they go to war, then that. There is no need to guide them into a final, all-encompassing event. Of course, desolation and war are much more fun than relaxing peacefully in beautifully built cities. This will bring you likes and views.
