Fantastic video. I had no idea (until recently) that these programs existed, and have been relying on the Windows 7 version of Backup for my Windows devices, and tar with rsync batch script for my Linux devices. Those solutions worked, but I wanted something that gave me more flexibility. It looks like restic is what I've been searching for, as I love the snapshot / retain / forget features. I watched several of your videos, and found them to be well structured, and clearly explained. I've also learned that restic has a docker container and will probably use that for my Linux environment. I appreciate the videos you've created on these tools, and wish you continued success on your YT content creator journey. Well done!!!

Might be obvious but are you running rescuezilla on the same drive you’re storing your backup images to? I’m having an issue where after I put rescuezilla on my portable drive, it doesn’t let me backup to a different partition in the same drive.

I'm trying this app today, and the lite version (non-pro) doesn't have the sync option -> Sync sub-folders and when I try to sync to right folder the whole DCIM I'm not receiving all subfolders inside, only the existing ones are syncronized. Is app issue, or some storage location privelege issues? I'm using SMB2 to store on a local drive on a windows pc. Thanks all!

Great video! I guess my only question (maybe I missed something) is when and where does the encryption password get used? If I understand correctly, the encrypted files can be copied, moved or mounted using rclone without the password ever being required. Which makes me wonder what is the point of setting the encryption password during the rclone config?

Playing from a URL didn't work for me it just keeps circling. Also, when streaming using OBS Studio and Potplayer my audio goes according to my headphones and not Potplayer's audio. So when my broken headset audio goes out so does the audio on my stream. I don't think I have the audio set up properly. Would you know if there is a way for my stream to use Potplayer's audio and not my headphones? Thank you!

Why would you block Spotify automatic updates? It says optional on GitHub. Is there not a security risk of being hacked if you ignore Spotify updates? Snce you are always connected to the Internet when using Spotify. EDIT: The newest SpotX version does not give you the option of keeping the "Podcasts" button to see the latest podcast episodes. Is there a way to get this button back?

I used static jpg in the end, animated image results, at least for me, in that same Firefox memory leak bug from last year, when minimizing the browser or opening a window on top of it while using any animated theme results in memory usage going up non stop, when maximized it back to normal. Do you came across that issue or maybe did I do something wrong? Thanks for the guide! +1sub
