Just catching up with the collab vids, it’s a shame when you lose a hobby you enjoyed, due to health issues, sounds like you’ve found a way to get back into it without causing discomfort. I like reading too Hazel. Thanks, Em 💜

Do the ebike thing - share what you enjoy doing! We're considering a couple of folders (once we work out how to get them into the biscuit tin sized garage). I (Pete) think about something that requires a helmet, insurance, and an A licence ... , but only sometimes. Let's hope that op happens quick and is good. The two of us would be lost without our Kindles (much less space / weight than the old paper things (backlight for the win!) .
@mark-hazelsmotorhomeadventures14 күн бұрын
Hi Pete and Kaz yeah that’s the trouble we found when we had the same van as you to be honest I’ve put a bike rack on the back of our van hazels bike is just a normal mtb and I take the battery out of the folder and put it on the bike rack 👍🏻best wishes Mark &Hazel

We would like to try ebikes but not sure how best to transport them. I do have a unit that will attach to the tow bar but worry about all the extra weight on the rear axle.
@CraftyCampervanners14 күн бұрын
Check your weight plate - We've seen folks transporting motorbikes on towbar. Does need more science than just guessing though.

I remember the magic of Blackpool as child in the 50/60’s and the excitement of seeing the illuminations and walking gown the promenade and going to the funfair. I can almost taste the fresh doughnuts and candy floss. Now the magic has gone and it’s nothing to do with age.

We used to have a road trip every October 7 of us in a ford cortina. Dad driving (dad was HGV driver) uncle in the front me on my mums knee I’m the back, my older cousin on the middle seat and my younger cousin on her mums seat. I loved the train that drove through the cafe in the pleasure beach which was free entry back then. Up the tower and then after wandering around the town fish and chips before the drive through the lights and head to the motorway. Happy memories

The walk along Blackpool sea front, wow has it changed since I last stayed there, used to go every year with my nana when my sister and I were about 12, used to stay in a Hotel down a street opposite the South Pier, brought back some memories. It was very quiet wasn't it, easier to film though he he, lovely beaches there, great video, thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
