We used to have a road trip every October 7 of us in a ford cortina. Dad driving (dad was HGV driver) uncle in the front me on my mums knee I’m the back, my older cousin on the middle seat and my younger cousin on her mums seat. I loved the train that drove through the cafe in the pleasure beach which was free entry back then. Up the tower and then after wandering around the town fish and chips before the drive through the lights and head to the motorway. Happy memories

Hi and thank you for your comment . ive got similar memories as a young kid. The lights have got a lot better now though. This time we did the same as you fish and chips before going driving along the lights it brought back lots of memories take care and best wishes Mark & Hazel

I visited Blackpool last year and got there just before the illuminations It's a 10h drive so I am glad I can now just watch them for my home. Thank you 🙂
