There’s buffs to the tethers which is actually pretty noticeable in both PVE and PVP. 33% increased damage on mystic/detonating syphon and I believe 16% increased healing on mortal coil/ braided tether. Over a nice buff when paired with the right sets… cough cough… Nobility In Decay… cough cough.

Not quite… this is more of an elemental AOE monster. Ground abilities with MASSIVE damage output. The combo is nasty.

It’s hard to tell on console with out the spread sheet add on that shows buffs and damage done aftermath. But I look at it more as a way to immobilize and cc the enemy. It’ll make your summons glow blue for the extra 1000 damage and healing but it’s usually only 1 of them. Hard to tell if they all actually get the buff. Definitely fun to use though. I use it on my defiler build.

I’ve toyed around with both. I truly enjoy the destro resto setup I currently have. Might drop a skill for the skele arc too. Decent damage and another corpse.

That's like saying Deadly strike is only good for Templar on paper. Brother it's a percent boost, it's more damage than essence thief. Essence thief is 10% ritualist is 16% to say ritualist isn't good damage when it's more than the most common 1v1 set in the game is crazy.

That’s a good point. I forget that essence thief users only do 10% when all necro summons get a 16% damage boost.

@@cameronbachman8161 ritualist only effects Blastbones and Skeletal Arcanist/Archer, where’s essence thief is 10%+ all damage dealt.

Right… but it also affects colossus and any monster helmet summons. Not to mention necro can also get an addition 10% from colossus as well with a high uptime. It’s better imo

Our critical chance goes up with our pots along with our passives with both damage and healing. You have to remember necromancer has Death kneel which increases our critical chance, the lower the enemy per gravelord ability slotted. Our healing gets more critical chance, with the lower our health gets, with the more living death skills on our back bar, by up to 20% depending on the severity of the wounds. Also the lower our health, the higher the damage mitigation due to sets and vamp, PLUS two of our abilities in the front bar are free. Cost no resources. Second our spam costs very low magic 1700 I believe. Blast bones only cost 900 stamina and lastly, our skills on the back bar are our higher costing and they’re buffs only, plus deadened pain is also free. critical resistance is a little low, but we’re so tanky that it doesn’t matter Edited: The footage speaks for itself.
