Hired by Weinstein, Black Cube, the sizable Israeli inteligence firm, was condemed for working hard to to falsely discredit Weinstein victims mostly by falsely depicting them as anitsemitc to ruin their characgter. Sound familiar....

This was another expoitation film, with the usual bloodbath revenge climax, to keep sore butt's on seats. It actually threw a huge blanket over what goes on in Hollywood by making out that everything was sweet before the arrival of Charles Manson. Tarantino's adores are a cult in themselves.

"... and even the men in tights, that masquerade as heroes in the the theme park movies, that masquerade as cinema". Wow, what a line. Subscribed right then and there.

No! No! No! Tarantino dreamt up some gratuitous violence and smutty talk and padded it with revisionism and name-dropping, as per, 'the formula'. Butts on seats = $$$

Better than the room, at least Even though you created HUGE gaps in the dialogue to make it the most awkward possible

Laughed a lot in this video But still believe it was money laundry They'd achieve the same results spending less than half a billion Free media just by the hype Overpriced costs so the investors could wash their dough by "investing" in something "great"

Wait WHAT? This PNG backgrounds were really CONSTRUCTED? Come on The whole show seem like it was filmed like 300, in a huge green screen with a static cold white light in half of the characters face (doesn't matter if the light was reflecting the water or a candle or moonlight or riding a horse) I've seen youtubers make more immersive things

Ruined with an unbelievable cast of mixed race and too many female lead characters. Woke the f up. The rest was fine. Just where did all these minorities come from and go to, no sign in the other movies or books. 1st fundamental rule of fiction. Make it convincing.

I thought this video made some great points I had not heard anywhere else. I just finished season two and I have to say, of all the lesser known actors they cast, Galadriel was the biggest misfire. Her scenes were always the most painful to watch. The person who follows up Cate Blanchet needed more range and a whole lot more charisma. On the other hand, I felt like the actor who played Celebrimbor put on a masterclass in the second season. He was the only actor who was always interesting to watch, even though I didn’t really like his character. He acted circles around the entire rest of the cast. Except maybe the older Durin.

I was having a good time until you compared two yuppies who made a horrible LoTR show to Pol Pot and Joseph Mengele... I don't know if you think that stuff enhances what you're saying, but it doesn't.

I really really really really hope that all the negative feedback on this shitshow will reflect in a positive way for any future pioneers tending to "try" make a movie after Tolkien's books. Amazon, please go hide in mount Doom and never come back.

Wow after hearing the price tag the Tolkien estate attached to the rights to this project I’m not buying the line about it being a passion project for them anymore. If it’s true they demanded to be involved, then clearly they have no judgement. Tolkien should have donated his rights to a hospital, like the creator of Peter Pan.

Amazon continued to charge me for Prime five months after I canceled. Mind you, I canceled two days after signing up for a trial, because they didn't actually have the show they were advertising. Never the less, canceling from my Amazon account was apparently not the same as canceling from my Prime account (with the exact same credentials) to Amazon. I'm pretty sure it is according to my bank, who has taken over the fraud case. Point being: this trillion dollar company is so bad at business that they resort to the kind of petty fraud and thievery you hear about in fairy tales and DnD campaigns.

I escaped. I canceled Amazon Prime when I saw how much the shopping experience has degraded: scores of identical private-label products sold by Chinese shell companies under gibberish brand names. I don’t buy enough to justify paying for “free” shipping. Even if I did, it’s not that hard to plan ahead and group my purchases together in amounts high enough to qualify. The final straw was the fact that Amazon kept increasing the price of Prime (up 50%) while also adding ads to the Prime experience.
@amicaaranearum

If The Rings of Power was only created to increase Amazon Prime members, why spend more money making seasons 2-5? Amazon has already gotten all of that benefit. No new users are signing up _now_ to watch those seasons, knowing how bad the show is.

That's not what literally means. If it were "literally" window dressing, it would be dressing, for a 🪟 WINDOW. It's truly shocking how many younger people misuse the word as "actually". If I said I was "literally as hot as the Sun, somehow I would have to be taking Helium, & turning it into Hydrogen, at outrageous 🌡 temperatures. You could be METAPHORICALLY as hot as the Sun, but NOT "literally". Please don't use words you don't understand. Thank you.
