NIGHT OF THE COMET and its soundtrack were another reason the 80s rocked - Peak Pop Culture. 3:21 Never notices the Maze symbol for the underground scientist bunker , that if you were in the center... there was NO WAY OUT! For Star Trek Voyager fans - the movie featured a young Robert Beltran (Commander Chakotay).

I grew up with this movie had it on vhs back in the 90’s, I’m now 33 years old. I miss those days back when life was so simple. I also have the original movie poster in my bedroom.

It's a great song. They should make it sexier. This movie really scared me I still won't steal not ever. I strip & dance to this song & earn earn money to pay for my families & my to keep my families & communities safe .

I was re-listening to this fantastic track just now and just suddenly got this mental image in my head: Someone out there gets on here and sees all of us "comet watchers" rocking out to all of this movie's fantastic songs, and out loud they remark of us, "My God, they look like 'The Brady Bunch'."

WOW! I just NOW discovered this! This song is so representative of why the 80s were so fantastic - there tended to be an overall sense of hope and positivity that was reflected in pretty much everything, people enjoyed life, and songs like this were wonderful pick-me-ups that encouraged and inspired. Same with this movie - it may have been about an apocalypse, but it ended with a positive and encouraging note. 😊

I remember watching this movie for the first time and was amazed at all the great West Coast music in the soundtrack. Great movie, but stellar music, one of best soundtracks I've ever heard before or since. Thanks for your hard work.

I recommend speeding up the tempo a bit for a more movie accurate version. Otherwise, awesome song, one of my favorites. Thanks for posting.

Watched the movie again on March 31 2024 due to the devil's comet that's swinging by on April 8th 2024 along with the eclipse and thinking, what if this actually happens? At least I can jam out with great 80s vibes from a movie that was awesome Since the day it was made.
