@@guitaristshawn Met him for the first time when Bob Summers and I produced the record. He was suggested for the song by the writer and the minute I heard Bobby start singing I was floored! He was great to work with and truly a professional in every sense of the word.

WOW! I just NOW discovered this! This song is so representative of why the 80s were so fantastic - there tended to be an overall sense of hope and positivity that was reflected in pretty much everything, people enjoyed life, and songs like this were wonderful pick-me-ups that encouraged and inspired. Same with this movie - it may have been about an apocalypse, but it ended with a positive and encouraging note. 😊

You're able to speed it up a bit now. I'm unsure if you've already tried it or not, but I'm wondering if the "1.25" speed sounds closer to the original or if the "normal" speed does.

The speed settings only makes the singing go faster it doesn't change the tempo (I think thats the right term) which affects how the music notes sound. Or is it pitch? Besides I actually like it slowed down like this, sounds smoother like something you'd hear in a lounge.

Greetings, These songs were given to me by Don Perry who by some miracle found it with others from the film in old boxes that were stored on cassette tape. Once we transferred the songs into MP3 format I gave the song back to Bobby Caldwell. He may make the song available to everyone either on his website or maybe through itunes.
