I was trying to add base coat to my temu nails and it did not work, the base coat started sliding off the nail, any recommendations?

@@mariais2002 That’s happened to me before. Maybe try doing a thinner coat of base coat? Or you could try a builder gel instead. I’ve heard the builder gel works better. I haven’t tried it yet but I plan to. I hope that helps! 🩷

Those nails are beautiful. After apply the gel top coat, are the press on strong? Also about how long do they last for?

Thanks so much! 🥰 And yes, the gel top coat makes them strong. I’ve heard some people say you could use a builder gel instead, whichever one works best for you. My nails typically last a little over a week. They could last longer but I like to switch them up a lot.

Normally what I do when I get transparent nails I get my coloured nail polish and I paint the inside. If you put it on the sticky tab without lifting it back up (if you lift the nail up after putting it on the sticky tab because you placed it wrong) it will be fine but is you do lift it back up then the nail polish will get stuck on the sticky tab. Make sure the nail polish has dried. Hope this helps!
