Please I have a question. How is it possible for this motor to function with a plastic core for the electromagnets? Or is the ferromagnetic core just there to "channel" the magnetic field better and by so, just an efficiency measure?

Only ever seen it used on custom motorcycles however anything with wheels technically it could be used for , it's more for the looks

@@IcannaHelpthere's been attempts at using them.for cars. But that was years ago and the design that company was using/testing (can't remember their name) on early fk8 generation Honda civic(s) was absolutely primitive compared to even this design let alone the Verge electric motorcycle. The unit was heavy and wasn't very power dense or efficient if memory serves, but that comes with the territory I'd say. It was an early prototype in an age where it was hard to make or find, let alone *_get_* batteries with the reliability/consistency and power density to run something like that. Biggest problem nowadays would be unsprung mass. I have a plan for that in a design im working on, but its a long ways away from ever seeing daylight.
