Pro tip. Solder/pretin the metal band together BEFORE solder them to the batteries. That way, you don't heat up the batteries more then needed. Also use flux on the batteries, so you get the solder flow better when soldering to the batteries. Also let the batteries cool down between soldering the batteries end and then solder the metal bands to them. Except for that, great video.

Also, sandpaper the contacts before soldering. It removes surface oxidation and scuffing allows the solder to grip better. Anders Jackson, I see you've done some battery work in your past.

That has a capacity of 12Ah tops. Could have made it even easier with faster charging and less heat if you went with a 2s4p config.
