I was there! Only 20 years old, now 71. Love the good old music of the 60s and early 70s - nothing like it today.

Great job with the remaster! Huge improvement over the old video. And especially significant with the lack of footage from this era

Roger said later that the lower half of Keith was barely functioning 2 days after The Cow Palace ordeal. I would never have known it. When they announced the opening group, I said to my date: "Did he call them 'Lean 'n Skinny?'" She said "That''s kinda what I heard."

Winter's performance of this Rick Derringer song was my favorite track on the live album, "Roadwork," by Edgar Winter's White Trash, released in early 1972. Still have it.

As I explained on a previous comment in a reply, there was no attempt at synching the audio to the visual. The 8mm film was shot in small segments during the course of the show. The audio is from a bootleg of the same show and is the entire performance of "Jumping Jack Flash."

I LOVE the Faces-Rod at his raw best. But in some ways-and maybe I’m wrong-he’s kinda “phoning it in”. He was being courted by the asshole big record labels . . . Damn, still love this stuff live!!

The song starting at 3:21 sounds just like La Grange that ZZ Top released a year later in 1973. Hmmm.

Many don't know it was the Band GFR that wanted Freddie on tour with them. They were a huge fan of Freddie, especially Mark Farner! This is a line from We're an American Band>>>>>Up all night with Freddie King, I got to tell you, poker's his thing! Appears Mr. King was a helluva poker player, and cleaned some pockets out of there cash.

I often wondered if it would be better to be in the top five percent of a dozen different instruments (Edgar) Or arguably the single greatest in the world of one instrument (Johnny)
