It’s not a traditional load board. It’s an in-house load board with solo over the road dry van freight. They also determine which loads go on there, it’s a very small percentage of swifts overall freight. Several guys have told me that they have booked loads on there and had the loads taken away from them and given to other drivers. Sometimes there’s a few loads to choose from on there, and sometimes the pickings are few. Almost everyone knew that was driving for Swift has since left them because the load board was not what they thought it was going to be. Even the beta testing that I did for them is much different than what their current iteration is.

I was looking into them job hunt or Schneider for getting my feet wet as owner operator.

Yeah I asked all the right questions and made decisions based on their answers and now I am living with the consequences It’s not bad but nowhere near as good as what I was told.

So that’s a tough question to answer it depends on your location how much you’re streaming devices are using. Ideally this system is designed for a business customer and and not for a casual gamer.

@siempreviva-yc4hf I can’t imagine that it would be great in Pakistan. I’m showing that the average truck driver in Pakistan earns between $500- $700 per month.

They were a great place to contract with for many years but each time there is a change in leadership, it’s like working for a whole new company and they’ve had several changes in leadership even since I was there. Hopefully one day they will return to being the great company that they once were.

Depends on the driver. I used to sleep better in the truck than I did at home.

That makes no difference in my mind. We’re going to let people that we barely trust to drive cars that age get on the same highway as us in our families in an 80,000 pound commercial vehicle. The fact that you use the grain analogy makes me even more nervous. Do you believe that a farmer meticulously maintains his truck as well as an OTR owner operator?

@Casper55 they have made a lot of changes since I was there. I would no longer recommend them. I got a good friend that works there now and he’s getting ready to leave them.

@truckertoddllc thanks for the heads up. I'm currently a walmart private fleet driver. I probably will be here forever unless something bad happens
