This video is about 1.5 years old. I think this is a totally fair and valid concern about the game. I've historically been a purely free-to-player, but with Palia I enjoy the game so much that I did buy some cosmetics in the store. Personally, I'm satisfied with the price I paid for the items I wanted. The friends I play with regularly have not spent any money at all. And at least so far, it doesn't seem like they're missing out on any gameplay. I was concerned that your prediction might come true when they introduced the dice-rolling emoji, but then they followed it up by selling dice in-game for in-game currency that could basically do the same thing as the emoji... making the gameplay functionality accessible to free players as well. I'm hopeful that it will continue to be fun for all players and not go the pay-to-win route. I'm still having a fun time with the game and it seems like my friends who haven't spent a dime are also still enjoying it. While I can afford the items I want in the premium store, I'm privileged to have a higher than average (for the USA) income. I do wish there was a wider spread in the prices to make premium items more accessible to all players (and maybe if the popularity grows, they could even make some more expensive items for those of us who have money to burn), but I also appreciate that they have over time added more free customization options (most recently in patch 0.186, Nov 2024, when they added 4 free hair styles and 10 free hair colors). All that to say, I don't think they've ruined the game yet, and I remain hopeful that they won't (at least not any time soon).

Nice. 1:18.. I just got my first one from a mystery box but that doesn't seem to be on the list here.

New to stardew (Year 2 summer) and am on the latest patch does anybody know if the mystic stone save reroll method still work? I would assume it does because I get varying amounts of gold and iridium ore each day, but I am currently on the 20th day of trying for a prismatic shard with no luck. So just curious if I am getting super unlucky or this method no longer works?

A handful of my first lot of prismatics ever came from those purple gem nodes.

The last Magazine in the Watoga run glitches almost every time. You will hear the ping for it under the monorail on the ground but it will not be there. Just go to the location where it is supposed to spawn when this happens and enter a Daily Op then immediately back out and it will be on the seat where it is supposed to be. Drove me crazy when I could hear it and not find it.

I just do skull caverns with hundreds of staircases at a time when I am farming Iridium and Radioactive Ore and in that process I get more auto petters than I will ever use and rather than doing map predictors for dangers in the deep I would just farm more gold to make more crystalariums for more jade duplication.

ive been playing the game for almost 8 years and i have only ever found 2, both in the quarry and in different saves ..

i was digging on level 95 for the yellow one. i lost all my hope and went to another level to farm more iron. the first monster i kill on level 45 drops the scroll..........

You can also put torches on top of sprinklers! Found out by accident trying to place one on a wall
