Nice setup. Exactly the guide I’ve been looking for. Did you test your setup with a laser gun? With the front 3 scramblers so low & recessed, compared to a normal car grill, I was curious how effective it was
@CharlesCo9182 ай бұрын
@@jonathanxakellis4526 There were definitely problems with them being that low in the grill. They really need to be near the headlights. I tested with a "standard" gun and a DE. The rear was great against the regular one. The DE was rough. The front was much better after testing, but really need to be higher. I was going make custom gromets and put them in the bumper below the headlights and in the middle where the grill was. My 3D print design skill couldn't get it done.

I can confirm this exact same thing happened to my Ryobi vac attack. Cut off the switch, connect the two wires together. Now it works great. And I was about to throw the thing away. Thanks for saving me some money! Unfortunately, a few years ago I had thrown away the same exact model, for the same issue, not knowing this simple fix. I have multiple 40 volt Ryobi batteries and this thing works so great without any electrical cords so I'll stick with it.

So when hooking up front did you drill through or lucky enough to hook up without drilling? just bought ALP Kit today, thanks
@CharlesCo9186 ай бұрын
Are you asking about the firewall? If so, there's an unused gromet I point out in the video, remove that grommet and cut a hole just large enough for all of your wires. Then run your wires and put the grommet back in. I put a hole that extended to the edge if that makes sense, but left enough material for it to close once the wires were back in.

4 Sensors transmitters one sensor inside on each tire, 4 LFI (low frequency initiator) above on each tire, these active the tpms sensors each 10 minutes and 1 tpms module unit (reciever) located on center console.

Hi Charles, when i change recievers or TPMS module under dash do i need to program the ECU. i have 2005 pilot changed ALL OEM sensor. rear one are failing, i moved the tire to front and front to rear.. again rear is fialing this means it is not sensor problem. now i dont know it is receiver or tpms module. again do i need to program TPMS MODULE PLS.
@CharlesCo918 Жыл бұрын
Make sure you have OEM sensors. I replaced everything and it was still not reading the rear sensors. The front are OEM Honda, the rear are not. The OEM have been sold out since I made this video. To answer your question, you do not need to program the ECU, but make sure your part numbers match on the modules incase there were any midyear part changes.
@sivucit Жыл бұрын
@@CharlesCo918 Yes all 4 are OEM sensors, only rear is not reading. so i moved rear to front, again same problem on rear, this means it is not sensor , will be either antenna or TPMS module itself.

Airing down significantly helps traction in deep snow. I usually air down to 6-8lbs, but I run bead lock wheels.
@christophermichaelson905010 ай бұрын
Actually this is not true. There is no improvement, or perhaps poorer traction. The idea is to pack the snow for traction, which is better accomplished by a thinner contact patch. A wider contact patch reduces the packing.

Thank you for posting this. It is fairly inevitable to accidentally draw in sticks and rocks which cause the motor to panic. Usually pulling the battery would reset it. Took mine apart and gapped those leads on the microswitch like you demonstrated. We have signs of life again! 🥰 Cheers!

Sometimes I can barely get the transmission into first, have to double clutch for second, and reverse can be hit or miss if it's going to be easy to get into. I know the shift fork assembly ain't cheap, about 500 bucks just for the fork assembly, and the gears are about a hundred dollars each. I think I might try and find a reman transmission.
