How do you put boquet in water over night if you have ribbon all thexway down the stem
@orlandorose30272 күн бұрын
Good question! For fresh flowers I would wait until the day of the event to do the ribbon treatment. Or forgo wrapping the very bottom/under part of the handle and simply wrap the stems leaving about half an inch exposed so the flowers can sit in a small amount of water overnight. Hopefully that made sense 😵💫

How much ribbon did you use for this?

I like to measure the ribbon three times the length of the handle… and then a a couple of inches more because I worry that it’ll run out lol!

Thank you so much 🥰 -and good question! The hydrangeas and ribbon, I believe, came from Hobby Lobby. The flowers were part of a boxed set I purchased on Amazon amzn.to/3z7UTEJ I really liked the clean look of that boxed set, it has a nice variety of flowers to choose from too 🤗

@orlandorose30274 ай бұрын
Thank you so much 🥰 You should totally give it a try! It’s way easier than you’d think to make your own bouquet, especially if you’re doing monochromatic-all one color because then you only have to worry about the shape of the bouquet. Amazon has some inexpensive boxed bouquets that are a great way to practice/start. a.co/d/7FC0eWW (I’m not sure if that link will work in KZbin 😬) Boxed sets are also good for bridesmaids bouquets as there are so many sets and color combinations to choose from. If you do create your own bouquets I would love to see photos! 🤗

Hi Stephanie! My go to craft store is Hobby Lobby. I find they have a good selection of wood crafts (sticks dowels spheres cubs etc) and the styrofoam can be found in their wedding or dry flowers area… or you can use styrofoam from packaging just trim down to size. Last resort, Amazon lol 😉
