That was a very thorough and detailed explanation of the evap vent system operation and diagnosis. i have a similar problem as you had, p2422 and while refueling, nozzle would click off repeatedly. i will inspect the vent hose at the rear subframe side for obstructions.

repair is complete, the canister was plugged- no air came out when air was blown into the port where fuel tank vapor hose connects, also vent valve solenoid shorted, .2 ohms resistance. bought a used unit, tested good - air comes out easily. hope this helps someone out there. (2006 acura tl)

You don't need to dismantle anything. The switches slide right out the front! Lol

Very informative guide. What is the bulb type/size? Do you have to go to the dealer to get these bulbs or can it be ordered online?

I went to the local Toyota dealer parts department to order the green bulbs, because they were not in stock. Did you say you did not have to take out all the trim, etc.? Could you have removed the switches from the front? I could not tell.

Thanks for making this video. I have the same 2002 Camry XLE with the same instrumentation. Both icon back lights are out in my car. I think I will go to Toyota parts department to find out what is the exact bulb replacement. It is hard to find the specs online.

i have a 2004 camry xle my drivers side light is burt out for my heated seats . i will fix mine now that i know how thank you much.

Will this work for an 2004 Camry? The pieces sure look similar, if not identical.
