yes star is a full english song! it is a bside from the 12:00 album (that ‘why not’ is from too) they released a music video for it as a gift to international fans and it did super well on the radio and they became the 2nd kpop girl group to ever chart on mediabase radio chart and the highest charting ever

im glad you're informed about the units! nct dream is the youngest group, there's some comebacks where they had only 6 members due to the fact that they used to have a graduation system where when the members turned 20, they left, and mark, the oldest of nct dream, left when he turned 20, but later came back when sm entertainment suspended the graduation system. that's just some extra background info because that situation makes nct dream more complex than like 127 and u. nct 127 is just a normal group that actually started with only a few members, and others joined throughout the years. nct 127 has 10 members but also have like a few comebacks in the past two years with only 9 members, because one member named winwin joined the new subunit that debuted in 2019 and his schedule with that unit (wayv) conflicted with his 127 schedule (he hasn't permanently left 127, but he hasn't been active either). nct u is a unit where every comeback can have members from any unit, and they can be any amount, like they have had all 18 members in a video, they've had 23 members in a video (current amount of members) or even just 2 members in a music video.

I feel like you haven't seen SHINee, until you have seen their live videos. Like. You cannot understand how good these guys are unless you are watching their live performance. I don't like Lucifer as a song or a music video, but live, their vocals are so freaking good I don't care that I don't like it, it still sounds incredible.

All the members except Minho all have Solo Albums already. Though Key and Onew enlisted after releasing. Onew released album the same day he enlisted. Key promoted a bit, release repack then went to Army. Minho did a solo fanmeet, released I’m Home then went to the marines. Expected they’ll all release Solo Albums (inc. Minho) after military

So true. Each members’ Solo Releases and Featurings have very different vibe from the other member, and also different from SHINee. It’s amazing. And Yes, Minho is the rapper of SHINee but also got a beautiful voice. Key also is rapper.

The anime sound that you referred to is their trademark and is usually full of strings, piano and guitars. Real instruments unlike the vast majority of KPop music. However that doesn’t seem to suit your taste so I suggest you try listening to Fever and their B side track Labyrinth which has a 1 the K performance and are an EDM style unlike most of their music.

Key's album is amazing. He is very much into fashion and is responsible for the tour outfits. Onew album is very beautiful. They all have different strengths and colors that when you combine create the magic that is SHINee. Both Minho and Key rap and sing. SHINee don't really adhere to postions anymore, we like to say they are made up of 5 singers, 5 dancers, 5 rappers and 5 visuals.

As I love Blue the most out of these songs - that's my interpretation of the MV Onew is the leader of SHINee. - the crystal is dark, the shine is gone. - the 5 mirror represent SHINee (one of them is darker than the others = Jongyhun) - the 3 fish in the balloon = Key, Minho, Taemin - his to protect - the white rose = Jonghyun - the woman with no heart & the man next to her: the woman who got pressured by her boyfriend to accuse him of harrasment when he accidentally grabbed her leg while drunk in a club - the blindfolded people: everyone who judged him without knowing the truth or himself - the shooting star that lights up the crytal again: SHINee & SHINee World - the light blue/aqua pearl color in the sky: the official color of SHINee - the water dropping from his hands: the tears he didnt/couldn't cry after Jonghyun died because as the leader he needed to be strong for the others & also didn't think he deserved to cry - he had to relearn it. When I first heard "Apple", I didn't really care for it because it didn't have the soaring strings of "Time For the Moon Night", "Sunrise", or "Crossroads". However, it has started to grow on me a bit. I've actually found myself humming parts of the chorus.

The short haired girl (Eunha) has the ability to jump into different timelines/realities using the butterflies and she's basically saving their friendship that was ruined by envy.

Actually all of Gfriend's music and music's videos are connected. To make it simple, their universe tells the story of girls who were born on an island, grew up together and have a bond more like a family (MVs: Glass Bead; Me Gustas Tu; Rough) . But it all went down when they're acquired some special abilities from a magical lake (Love Whisper MV) and they started to get envious of one another (Navillera MV). They started to hurt each other (Fingertip MV) until they realized that it is too late and their friendship has been ruined (Summer Rain MV). However one of the girls (Eunha, the short haired one) possesses a power to turn back time (Eunha) and then Eunha uses it to try to fix their relationship (MVs: Time for The Moon Night; Sunny Summer; Sunrise; Fever; Crossroads). But no matter how hard Eunha tries, she always fail to save their friendship from different timelines. And now, in Apple MV all the girls esp. Eunha fall into the temptation of corruption from power and darkness (in their story, one of the characters told Eunha that the more she turns back time, the more she'll be prone to corruption). There's a theory that suggest that Eunha have sought another way to save their friendship and it is through darkness. What will happen next will be told in their next come back.

As a matter a fact, Big Hit released a video series (2 videos) under the title "The Tale of the Glass Bead" to establish the link of all Gfriend title tracks all the way back to their debut. The quick and dirty synopsis is that Eunha, the girl who fell off the roof, has the ability to do time travel, and the friendship of all the girls was under duress due to envy and misunderstanding. Eunha tried to go back in time to repair their relationship to dubious results. Fingertip and Crossroad showed the in-fighting and Eunha's attempt to go back in time. Apple shows how all the girls, after all their tribulation, decided to embrace the temptation that caused them to go in separate ways at first, and reunited to conquer the darker realm as led by their choice. The storyline is intricate and extensive and there are videos on the web with greater details if you are interested. Even without knowing al the story, you can find repeated appearance of many subjects in their videos (butterfly, glass bead, clock, etc.) Hope this helps.
