Man, FFXI being done dirty as always. If XIV gets one per Expansion, then XI should get Awakening (the one in this video), then Belief, Realm of Emptiness, Ragnarok, Goddess Divine, The Price... XI music is so severely underrated. :/

FFXIV: a battle theme for each expansion. FFXI: the base line solo theme from 02. No battle in the dungeon 1-3, no Onslaught no Depths of the Soul, no Delve... The disrespect. :/

So XIV gets a boss theme per expansion, but then "XI doesn't have a boss theme" when it could have one per expansion and then some, just like XIV. Man, XI gets done so dirty every damn time.. lol Tough Battle 2 and Turmoil should have a spot there.

Final Fantasy 1 on the NES only had the normal battle them. it played for EVERY battle, same for the MSX version... but then the Wonderswan Color came out in Japan, and it added 4 new battle themes, including a regular boss them, 2 different themes for the fiend battles, and the final boss theme. every version of FF1 since WSC, including my personal favorite, the PS1 version, has included these tracks since

I often like to joke referring to Tales of Arise as Baten Kaitos 3, because of how much Flames of Hope feels like The True Mirror (BK1) and A Valedictory Elegy (BK2) in terms of its instrumental composition, including the fact that like The True Mirror and A Valedictory Elegy, Flames of Hope has a second version that arranges the tune around guitar If you've never listened to the other 2 tracks before, I would strongly suggest giving them a listen. I would also suggest trying Baten Kaitos. It's actually one of my favorite RPGs, and while the battle system is card based, somehow it works really damn well imo. I've not gotten very far in Baten Kaitos Origins (aka BK2), and so I haven't learned to really appreciate its battle system, but I've had others argue that it is vastly superior to BK1s

Your covers of different video game songs has always been so entertaining and unique to listen to! When I look up cover for games, most people just do that 1:1 cover and it just feels like different instruments that aren't as quality as the original one was. With yours though, it is cool to hear parts of the original song, but hear it in a different approach in ways you might not expect from that song.
