I really enjoyed the video -- it's always refreshing to see what and/or how other fans rank these tracks. :-D Sabers Edge is my absolute favorite boss theme in the series. ❤❤ I can't tell you how much I appreciate your acknowledgement of Enemy Attack and how much impact was lost from the remaster when compared to the original. Final Fantasy X had three primary composers: Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamazu, and Junya Nakano. Some of the best fight/battle theme(s) in the game and the series overall were scored by Nakano.

I agree yu yevons theme was the best choice. But hearing braskas aeon song was so unexpected and badass and I'd put it as peak, just because of the vibe it brought. Technically one winged angel is the second phase of the boss fight. The initial song is called "birth of a god" which is god tier. I wish you'd have gave it an honorable mention

Damn VII in B Tier. Them’s fighting words. VII and VIII are the two best boss themes of the entire franchise for me.

I like this; it sounds straight out of Lightning Returns. But if it was meant to be for FFXIII specifically or the series as a whole, I wish it had more of the epic French horn and low brass lines of the original, as well as the heavy percussion. Imo, this battle theme inherently carries an air of grand, sweeping orchestra, and that's part of why I enjoy the OG so much. "Crimson Blitz" carried a lot of that spirit despite having lighter rhythm and tone, especially in the chorus with the brief vocals and violin focus.
