How dog friendly was Key West -shops, bars, restaurants?
@md.adventures43 минут бұрын
It was extremely dog friendly. Because it was so hot we didn't bring Hudson, but we saw lots of dogs in the shops and restaurants.

Why is there a difference between the front and rear balancer (one, as you point out has an indentation and the other is totally flat)? And, does it matter which goes on the front, and which on the rear? Thank you.
@md.adventuresАй бұрын
It’s doesn’t matter which one goes on the front and which goes on the back. There is a difference because this same model is used for jeeps which require that indent for the front, but for an escape travel trailer it doesn’t matter

I'm picking up an Escape 21C that's equipped with one of these units, so thank you for the 'introduction'. At the video's end, when backing into your storage space, there were no guidance marks showing on the Haloview screen. Intentional choice? A rationale for eliminating them? I was curious why that was the case.
@md.adventuresАй бұрын
Ya I made a choice to turn off the guidelines lines, for our use they were simply adding clutter to the screen, but it’s very easy to turn on and off. Good luck with your Escape, you’ll love it! My in laws have the Escape 21C

Just curious, did you add the mirror extension when you went from the Casita to the Escape, and if so is the Escape a wider trailer than the Casita?
@md.adventuresАй бұрын
@@davidwelty9763 we used a mirror extension with the Casita. The Escape isn’t much wider and in fact we eventually decided it wasn’t needed with the Escape so we no longer use one, but we do have a reverse camera that we can use to see behind us any time

It’s nuts to me that RV manufacturers are allowed to use solid-core romex.
@md.adventuresАй бұрын
Why do you say that?
@jmpattilloАй бұрын
@@md.adventures it’s prohibited on marine applications because the movement of the vessel may cause repeated bending of the solid wire, this could cause the wire to break inside the sheath, leading to arcing and fire. If anything, RVs should be the same.
@md.adventuresАй бұрын
@@jmpattillo oh good to know; thanks for sharing
@jmpattilloАй бұрын
@@md.adventures it’s probably ok since we don’t see RVs burning up everyday, but it doesn’t make sense to me that it’s allowed. From what I’ve seen, Escape does a way better job with wiring than other manufacturers. Putting arc fault breakers in would go a long way to mitigate the slight risk.
