Not that crzy about the pianist's touch - a bit too dry and percussive at times but overall a good representation of the Etudes - just wish the pianist used a little more pedal and played a little less agressively (she tends to get a bit too percussive, possibly in her pursuit to adhere to the metronome markings she trades off touch -- also the audio recording is a bit old)

First time I've heard this but one of my favorite pieces is Grieg's Anitra's Dance, which i have played and has a stride bounce/ rhythm in left hand. So I'm a fan of Grieg. Regarding this piece 'Homesickness': The first page sounds a bit jazzy to me with the nice sonorous melancholy melody beginning around middle C (C4 -C5 etc) range of piano. Then the 2nd page has a drastic change in character with twinkling disney land/ fantasy land like notes/ melody in upper higher register continuing through page 3 and then page 4 returns to the lower jazzy melancholy theme of 1st page. Interesting piece that's a bit quirky on page 2 and 3 - in a good way. Not something I feel an urge to spend time to play it/learn it but enjoyed listening to it several times as it's quite captivating.

I know it will sound arrogant but i've trained this etude for years and that is always how i envisioned it very clean very balanced hands, Correct tempo and correct touch with a lot of dynamics.

Many parts are humanly laggard and don't follow the timing as written, regardless of how stellar you think Pollinin is, I'm sorry. They need to be more machine-like and closer to timing perfection. You may wish to cut off my scrotum, but this is impossible.
