i have loved the content thanks for showcasing Uganda and as a tour operator in Uganda we are proud of your work though i would like to correct a few things Queen Elizabeth is the third largest Conservation area in Uganda but the second largest National park Pianupe is the second largest conservation area after Murchison falls National park but Pian upe is a game reserve in eastern Uganda, its not yet a national park. 2 Mountain gorillas are not 300 in Uganda they are 480 as of the last census but with new babies reported the number is increasing. apart from those two things the video was well documented

The reef is largely dead, a long walk out to it at low tide, not a large variety of fish and so-so visibility. Not to mention the mobs of day trippers. People who enthuse about the snorkelling haven't seen better places.

Thank you for a very informative and pleasantly presented video. You focus on the place, not on yourself which is a refreshing change from so many vlogs 😂 Having spent a week here i think I have a new favourite Thai island. Just be careful where you stay, i was "unlucky" as I ended up in a place without internet (actually two hotels, none of which had internet) plus it was too far away from anything for walking, and there were allegedly no motorcycles to be found on the island
@TravelRoads23 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind comment and thoughtful information! It's crazy you could not rent a motorcycle on the island. Despite this, I hope you had a nice time on Koh Mak!

Thank you for sharing information about especially for remote work islands. I am trying to me a trip plan to get 2 weeks off from work and 10 days remote work so entire trip might be 1 month , how would you make this trip with adding 3 days visiting Siem Reap cambodia ? I would be greatfull for your suggestion. I have been in Thialand 2 time and the last one was last year for 4 days in Koh Samui , 4 days Koh Phangan and 8 days in Phuket. So Phuket and Koh Phangan is my favorite so far. I am not able to decided to stay in Koh Phangan or Phi phi don for my remote work days ..
@TravelRoadsАй бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your kind comment and for watching this video. Phi Phi Island is too wonderful to be able to focus on work. 😆 You will be OK anywhere in Thailand - the internet is strong on all the islands you mention. Check on flights or a bus to Cambodia to add this to your trip. You will be closer to Cambodia if you stay on Koh Chang, Koh Mak or Koh Kood. Have a fantastic trip!

You need to register your drone to fly in Thailand. You can do that in Bangkok. If you Google what to do, you will find enough information online. :)

I see that at the end you mentionef you travelled during Covid. I was wondering how did you manage to take videos/ photos with an empty beach. Koh Kradan is gorgeous, but like many beaches in Thailand, it gets crowded with tourist boats and it feels unsafe kayaking or even swim a bit further distant to the shore.
@TravelRoads2 ай бұрын
We were stranded in Thailand for a year and a half during the pandemic. You can see our entire trip here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pna9ZqCuot2Wg80. All the beaches in Thailand were completely empty.

How did you book for the local ferry?
@TravelRoads2 ай бұрын
You can book a ticket for the local ferry at a travel agency in Trang (they will also provide transfer to the ferry pier). Or you can go to the Khuan Tung Ku Pier and pay the boat captain.

Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Your commentary style is so relaxing whilst showcasing the Pearl of Africa. I plan on going next year and most of your locations are on our itinerary . One question is about the boat rides at Murchison. The one ride up the river you mentioned takes 3 hours to the falls. The other ride down the river seems to offer more opportunities to see wildlife. If you were to choose one boat ride which would it be and what is the main difference? Thank you in advance for your answer.
@TravelRoads3 ай бұрын
Hello, Thanks for your kind comment! The boat ride upriver toward the falls was relaxing, though a bit uneventful. We saw a few hippos, some crocodiles, and several birds, but since we took the ride after lunch-when the sun was strong-many animals were hiding. The highlight was reaching the falls and witnessing the sheer power of the water plunging from the cliffs into the river below. We only stayed near the falls for a few minutes before the boat turned around and brought us back to the same pier where we started. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the views of the falls. For the downriver boat ride, we set out early in the morning when the light was soft, and the wildlife was active as nature was waking up. This time, we used a smaller boat gliding on the river. We saw more birds, hippos, and even a few monkeys perched in the trees. If you bring a good pair of binoculars, you’ll be able to spot even more bird species. Between the two rides, I recommend the morning trip downriver-it was a more rewarding experience. While seeing the falls from the river was amazing, you can also hike to the falls and get a similar view from the bottom of the cliffs without needing a 3-hour boat ride. I hope this helps! You’re heading to an incredible destination-have an amazing trip!
