I know that the father, Toby, certainly meant to say that he was the one "faking 'em out" @1:38, not his wonderful family. This whole bit of the video and then the reference to happenings in Vegas are especially creepy in retrospect. But all the fault obviously lies with the father. The kids were just doing their best to make small talk. But the manner in which the father made that comment is really astounding given the circumstances. You could hear a tangible sense of culpability in his voice.

I would have left the dad out of all the pictures, after the harm he caused this beautiful family.

Watching this just makes me so sad. It makes me wonder what made Toby snap? A lovely wife, beautiful healthy children. All so much God given talent. I wish someone would interview him in prison to see if he has any idea what caused him to be so angry and abusive? Did it have to do with the loss of his siblings in the car/fire accident ? So many questions but not many answers.The children appear to be healing and moving on with their lives and music, notbto mention families of their own. Perhaps someday Mom , Brenda Willis will right a book. Thanks to Jessica Willis Fisher and her bravery and courage. To me she saved the family from further abuse. I pray that they continue to heal and recover. It's certainly not an overnight process. May God give them peace, protection and healing in the years to come.
