Lots of questions.... Please tell me this is a legitimate plea for money....what legal fees does the family have? Toby pleased guilty, the state brought the case against him, and he acted as his own attorney after firing at least one attorney. How does that make a Brenda liable for attorney fees? How did Toby Willis squander the many millions of dollars he won in a lawsuit several years ago involving the wrongful death of his siblings which was so widely publicized? Why isn’t Brenda getting help from the WILLIS family who have many millions of dollars. I find it inconceivable that the older children who are adults now would not be working to earn money to help their siblings. I sincerely believe if they knew about this fund raiser they would be totally embarrassed by it. I also do not believe it was endorsed by Brenda Willis. I have no doubt they are capable of supporting themselves as any other responsible persons would do. Love the WILLIS family and wish them all the best 💕

This settlement was in favor of Toby's father and mother. The money went into a foundation and was used to help poor people around the world.

+Homer Willis- I don't dispute that the foundation is doing wonderful things around the world. I also know that the FAMILY retained and invested sizable portions of that money- a fact admitted and witnessed on multiple occasions. I don't think anyone would balk at the idea that these kids need dance and music. However, when their grandparents are wealthy and have their own ministry, one wonders why the grandparents and family can't support their own in this time of great need. Also, as noted- victims' attorney's fees are generally absorbed by the state filing the charges and although Toby may have opted out of a public defender (or denied one due to his sizable holdings), I have a hard time believing that a trust wasn't immediately created to see to the future needs of the family.

I think it's a misconception to think that Toby got millions from the lawsuit. That money went to his parents and there's no way of knowing how that was paid out. Remember that Toby and Brenda rented the house they lived in. Keep in mind that they were supporting a family of 14. They worked for themselves so I'm sure health insurance was extremely expensive for that large family. Even if the older kids get jobs that still leaves 8 kids who can't work full time jobs. Regardless of the money situation they have been through a horrific situation bouncing back from that will take a great deal of time to rebuild their lives. The Willis Clan band brought a lot of joy to people and I pray that they can get back to doing what they love. I miss hearing the band and watching the kids dance.

misbelle smith It is well documented exactly many millions money Toby received and also his sister and other family members. Check it out. It was so much money that he quit working at his regular occupation and later put his family on the road entertaining. I feel great sadness with the current circumstances for Brenda and the children but they are not wimps and have their pride. This KZbin channel isn’t endorsed by Brenda... if so, then we would know about it. So where is the money going to go that is being raised....?? Likely the Willis clan will not accept donations.

Sherry Long , I didn't know for sure if Toby got any money from the lawsuit. Knowing that now just raises more questions. It's very odd that they rented that house for 7 years. And do you remember seeing the worn out couches, stained carpet and roof leaking water on the living room floor? What did Toby do with their money? We will probably never know the truth. I really loved listening to their music and dancing. I hope that the kids don't give up on the band.

misbelle smith i miss seeing them also and hope in the future they will be able to complete their hearts desire for their future occupations. I’m concerned about where the “go fund me” money will go. There is no endorsement from the family for this KZbin channel. Knowing how their Christian family operates it is doubtful they would approve of this.

Sherry Long , You have a point. If it was legitament then someone in the family would be involved. Like Brenda or one of the older kids. I sure hope whoever made this video isn't trying to profit from the Willis family.

I love their music and their performance. I am very skeptical about this request. If the family wanted to go to the US Open, there are a number of promoters, advertisers and other organisations that would sponsor their visit. I would caution that you should be very wary of this fund and I will wait until I hear what Brenda Willis has to say.

didn't they have millions of dollars though? i remember toby saying they got 10 million from when his parents and siblings were in that fire car accident and then with all their music and tv show I'm sure they made another couple million
