I have been doing this for a while myself; I love seeing what you've done. It is amazing how different that wall now looks at your entrance with the two gold-framed botanical prints...so elegant and expensive-looking 👍 💛 (I am assuming you have found a piece of glass for the one on the left by now... 😅)

great vidoe and ideas. So i have question. Do you recommend use flat , matte or recommend satin? Your vedio the spray you used is satin so I am confused. Thank you.

I think she was saying that she has learned to, in future, only use flat or matte spray paint for the 'surrounds'...as when she has used satin it usually comes out blotchy 🙂

@@nightowl5395 yes this is the answer right here!! Go for the flat spray paint!!

the prices are actually less than crate and barrel or pottery barn so not sure what your expectations are. Also, it seems like all the issues were just user error, you didn't try sitting on it the way you want to sit on it in the showroom to get the correct seat depth? You didn't know how they connected together? You didn't know how the slip covers work? I don't think most people would suffer from these basics. I would certainly not buy a couch without knowing all these things beforehand. Why would you mix the foam in your coach wtf are you doing!?! You also didn't verify the right fabric for yourself, you felt it in the showroom?!? I'm glad you moved on but I hope you realize most of the issues you encountered were due to your own lack of research and asking questions

We went to a lovesac store today and I have to say, I was super happy with the product. I wanted it. I asked for the price and they said "4", nothing else. I thought it could never be $4,000, so I thought it was $400, and thought that was a fantastic deal. I went on the website and saw 4k! I was like he'll naw, that's robbery.

Very nice. Funny when I became a gardening addict and Horticulture student I got the idea of starting a journal, saving the tags and adding photos and notes. It was very enjoyable. After 100's of plants including a pond it became difficult to keep up with but I encourage any new gardener to do this. Notes, photos, tags, drawings, adds alot to our love of gardening and helps keep us going in the winter. Vicki

I just bought one from a secondhand retailer I’m not paying full price. I paid $3900 for five seats 10 sides. I’ve been doing research on this couch for six years and I could’ve told you everything that you said is true.. but the versatility of this couch is what I’m going for. I have a 20-year-old couch in my living room, and it has seen it better days. My couches arriving this week from discount brothers in Illinois. I know you paid $3900 for this couch originally through Lovac there are always cheaper options.

Would it be a good idea to place it on cinder blocks to get it off the dirt and prevent rot. Gutters would definitely keep the water off the foundation as well.

Yeah that’s definitely not a bad idea - mine is propped up on cinderblocks which I think has kept the bottom from rotting out 👌🏼

A lifetime warranty usto be good for anything you bought but thanks to lawyers now a company can say that the lifetime of a product is 7 years and then the lifetime warranty is over after said 7 years so long as they notify you in terms and conditions that you agree apon while proof reading something with 3000 pages

Annie! I’ve been a subscriber for years. Why your channel is not huge I do not know. I’ve always loved your cleaning videos and seeing the interior of your house where you combine the old with the new. That has been my style as well. My channel has been incredibly slow in growing. You are one of the reasons I started one because you’ve been such an inspiration. Thank you for the lesson on the hydrangeas. Whenever I think spring has started here in the mountains of North Carolina, we get fooled when cold weather comes back with a fury. Whether it will bring any snow is doubtful. That seems to be a thing of the past and that makes me sad because I love snow. Anyway… Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this video with my foster cat on my lap watching along with me.

It’s been so nice this weekend (I’m in Ohio) I wanted to clean up my beds so bad but I’ve been hearing rumblings that we’re supposed to get one more snow so I don’t want to get rid of all the leaves and old stuff from last year quite yet. I do see my tulips, daffodils and hyacinths popping through though thank god I’m so ready for spring!! 💖💐🪻

Hi! just a heads up that you shouldn’t prune this type of hydrangea macrophilia . It blooms on old wood, so when you prune it you’re cutting off all the new blooms. Do you see all those red blooms\ shoots? You just cut them all off in this video, so it decreases the blooming you will get this year. There are tons of videos on it. Some of the newer hydrangeas bloom on new wood, so it’s OK to cut them back, cutting off the dead branches is totally OK, but you cut off a lot of the strong, healthy branches that also had new bloom shoots. 💜 I hope this is helpful! I used to do that, and always wondered why I never had big blooms on my hydrangeas…only green leaves. Now I only trim the dead branches, but never cut them far back and never cut off any new shoots. 🙏💕
@MissAnnieB5 ай бұрын
Yes I know they grow on old wood - I literally explained exactly that in the video 🤣🤣 You can absolutely prune hydrangea macrophyllia, never all the way back to the ground, but it absolutely can be done with care as I explained it. I did not cut off any shoots whatsoever and only prune around new growth - one can decipher what wood has new growth and what branches are completely dead. 💕 Luckily Ive never made the mistake of cutting them all the way back - many of mine are just new from last summer so that’s why they look so small !
@robynmoxham42555 ай бұрын
@@MissAnnieB no worries I was just trying to help. I saw some of the new growth that was cut off. Anyway, good luck with the hydrangeas and have a blessed day. Hydrangeas are my favorite.
